I really don't think the coven was planning to sacrifice the children. The big thing that gives the Jedi (and Ryan) that impression is what Mae says during her Jedi test. But if you go back and look at what Mother Aniseya says to Mae in episode 3 (when the kids aren't paying attention during their lesson), the statements are much, much more innocuous. Mae just garbled them all up when attempting to repeat them to the Jedi, and they ended up sounding terrible. Any parent can tell you that kids are awful at remembering the things you're trying to tell them!

Night Sisters did not seem to mind handling both sides of the Force, they used whatever served their purpose. According to Sidious, Mother Talzin was not ambitious enough. The Jedi arent perfect and they are pretty much forcing people to give up their children. If the fine ass witch mother hadn't of let Osha go, wouldn't they have taken her? Witches=evil is a constant theme in Western Media and that isn't fair. Waaaaaayyy too many question to be answered in the last episode even if its 43 minutes! I'm not buying the uproar but the treatment of lore and saying that the Jedi might actually be ..gadsp...WRONG. WOokie with a lightsaber is awesome! Sol basically really fucking up is cool. Palawan going rogue...sure...but going batshig crazy like that?? A little much. Sigh. Looking forward to next week but hope it's good because would love to see another season....without this director. Am I the only one that wants to see the Old Republic game...in a 3 movie form? Why not? Armies of sith and Jedi fighting? Who cares if we know what happens? Game of thrones does it with some slight changes and it's going well. Why not stand alone movies about classic characters? Darth Revan movie or series? Same with Ventress? Who wouldn't watch that?? Young Mace Windu?? Too much of the fandom gets their knickers in a bunch about lore and Canon I guess. Anyways...thanks!

Yeah, I think that is why he behaved so irrationally, due to the way his will was altered while under mind-control, but his rushing back to the temple was more of an accidental side-effect of the mind-control, and not an intentional move set-up by the witches. It was an unintended consequence that came back to bite them. It's another instance of a choice based on a noble intention leading to the exact opposite outcome. In this case Mother Aniseya used the mind control to try to protect her coven, but that decision tragically led to all of them being killed.

@ck_p3786 I literally pointed out I didn't like it until this last episode but alright. Just seems like you have an underdeveloped frontal lobe if you don't see how things tie into each other, or what makes it a cohesive story, so far. I dare you to name anything in the show that happened that hasn't already happened in pre or post acquisition by Disney, OTHER than the stupid chant the witches did. If you try, I guarantee I'll find an instance of it in legends or canon. "This is not star wars" yeah okay Edit - and just an example: stupid stuff like the chant is even something I can prove is already in star wars to a degree. George Lucas made dumb decisions too like "midichlorian" and friggin Jar Jar was all over the prequel films and the show. Corny has been in star wars, sexual themes have been in star wars, poor portrayals of things have been in star wars, etc. You probably have more of a problem with the showrunners than the actual show, or you're just another rage bait fake star wars fan. This episode tied everything together so well. So many shows drop the ball on making things connect in the end and I was super impressed by how thoroughly the creators of this show have thought things through. Sol struggling to explain himself in the past episodes totally makes sense now that we know he killed Mother Aniseya due to giving in to fear, and that he chose to save Osha over Mae, and that he let Indara talk him into not being transparent with the council, which means he's had to secretly harbor these regrets for 16 years and has never felt absolution. I expected Indara to be the one that caused the fight with the witches, so I was surprised to see that it was Sol that wanted to investigate the coven and ultimately caused everything bad to happen. Also, episode three was from Osha's perspective, so if anyone thought the witches seemed lame, it's because she herself thinks that too. In this episode the coven seemed dark and powerful, because they're showing completely different perspectives. I hella loved this episode and it makes me see episode three in a whole new way.

Like most other reviews this channel has done of bad shows (think She-Hulk), they merely go with the flow. And then 180 a few months later. Their “objectiveness” is just them omitting the glaring plot holes, inconsistencies, and obvious production mistakes, while they basically apologize for every one of them the show makes. It’s sad. I remember watching them during She-Hulk thinking “WTF are they talking about, this show is horrible.” Then watching them 4 months later making videos about how bad it was, and that’s just cowardly. They’re pure shills now.

What video did you watch cause THIS video right here is NOT objective, it's bias. He's not even making consistent sense and just fluffing up the story like the Shill he is. Torbin did not "choose" to destroy the witch cult. There is no unreliable narrator effect in this. All we saw were different camera angles of the same story we saw in Ep3. All of these "Jedi" were undisciplined emotional idiots and they shouldn't of been. MAYBE Torbin but even he was WAY over the top. The mother witch was NOT doing a Jedi Mind Trick on Torbin... I could go on. Ryan is full of crap and fluffing up inconsistent and bad writing. How are they going to wrap this up in 30 minutes? How are they going to tie this to TPM? Why did Torbin commit suicide? He did NOTHING wrong! If the witch was just going to give the Jedi Osha then why suddenly turn into a dark ghost IN FRONT OF THE JEDI! NONE of this makes sense and Ryan acting like it all does is just some petty a$$ Shill crap and he knows it.
