I start to dislike this actress, first one, I know it was not her fault, but why did she accept played Anne Boleyn? So I checked the Times Square thing. It indeed costs about that much to get something on a large billboard on Times Square. The problem is you're getting like 10-15 seconds every hour and it rotates with all the other ads and messages other people paid for.

The general audience has never seen nor heard any critics they love to complain about, they're simply judging the product on its merits and refusing to support it. So from what I remember about 15 or 16 years ago when my mom and step father would lease a mid to small sized billboard for quotes from the Bible (so not anything like commercial advertising) that was next to the local highway and that was at ground level, in rural Georgia, it would cost around 1200 to 2200 depending on the complexity of the image they'd want put up. So this is an example that's not got any substantial value in it's location in comparison to say one's even off the interstate that are raised high above the tree line and expected to be seen by a much much larger demographic of people, ect. So for it to be in times square, for only $2200, is it located like inside a lobby of one of the buildings there? Lol

I have gone from being an ultra positive Star Wars fan to having it slowly eroded by Disney to the point that I am ultra cynical that it will ever be good again. Maybe if they throw piles of money at George to get the train back on the tracks somehow. That is just a dream though. I saw Empire Strikes Back as a kid at a drive-in under the stars in which tells you how old I am. Still to this day is my best movie experience ever.
