Acrylic pouring & fluid art:
Understand what is happening! Knowledge is power! What is your paint and what does it do? This is showing you in a simple manner how to do swirl (tree ring pour), a negative space with example of a flip and drag and a dip (dipping)
#acrylicpouring #Fluidart #pourpainting
Make sure to also watch part 1 for flip cup, dirty pour, puddle pour and swipe.
I also advise to understand why things happen how they to. Have a look at the background!!

Over the artist:
Hi. My name is Santana Hagedorn and artist for acrylic paint pouring and fluid art from the Netherlands. This form of abstract and modern decorative painting is done with Acrylics brought to the right consistency with various pouring mediums, oils and additives. By moving the paint layers, playing with different tools or adding heat I create different effects. Very messy and very fun. The Paintings can be don't know canvas, MDF frames, tiles or other flat surfaces. Can also be used to make daily items and gifts unique f.ex. little boxes or ornaments.
If you like my art and would like to purchase or custom order feel free to contact me via comment, email, Facebook or Instagram

I have done a few paintings now, but I found your videos very helpful. I loved the negative space painting. I struggle mainly with getting the right consistency, as videos can be contradictory. Anyway, I must be doing something right as I am being asked to do paintings for people - which would not happen without the help of gifted people like you. Thanks

t/you again...I am ready to start my pour website now..I've been studying for 3 months, but in 2 videos I finally have the techniques differences in my head! Now I could take a test and Ace-It!...I'm going to watch more of your videos. I'm strapped for cash, as I prefer to not work, and forced to retire at 62, because of health. I've been my Granddaughters babysitter for over 10 yrs.and take care of my Great Grandsons. Now 12 and 10...This pouring excites me! Been an Artist since I first touched a Color. T/you so much for your knowledge...I am going to link your site w/mine when I get it going...

May I ask why you put a white background first? I didn’t understand the reason explained? Not in terms of the negative space, is there any other purpose?Also The background is already white since it’s a canvas, so what’s the point? Is this white paint mixed with a binder? Another question is how will I know what is the right amount of paint that would fit or cover the canvas in front of me? Thank you, i love your very informative channel, keep it up!!!!!! Sorry for too much questions
@PouringArtExperience
@PouringArtExperience 5 жыл бұрын
A base is mainly put to add additional movement. Basically to make it slide better. But it's not needed nessacarily. The paint is always mixed with water and pouring medium/binder. Have a look at the basic playlist for that background information. Amount is a little bit of exirience..but also depends on technique used.
