Pre-LOD necro then. By the time they reduced the amount of skellies and increased their stats this became less of a problem - but the skells still died a lot from the lightning snake. But yea... I remember those "okay then, back to act 1 and restock on skellies" moments.

Luckily I never knew that pain, since my first Necro was purely Poison-Bone and Curses. I didn't even use any of the summons. Sadly the whole thing didn't work all too well when LoD launches, as some enemies just seemed far more beefy :P

werewolf is very good if you have the gear for him, fury werewolf was my favorite melee build. spellcasters are easier since they're not completely reliant on items like most melee characters

@@RWGlobalist my issue is that they aren't equal in power. Something can be good, but still far outmatched by something else. One of my issues with werewolf was having constantly cast spirit because it would literally go off and die every 5 seconds.

​@@Galba89 My summoner defeated Diablo multiple times. Just use a Claygolem, Decripify and Skeleton Mages with ice and Diablo is close to standing still. Takes some time though but your summons are never in danger.

I'll never forget vanilla D2 I was the only sword and shield baba for months it was amazing killing other babas wich where lance babas 4 or 5 at a time 😂😂 i remember helping those guyse re level after they deleted and remade their babas into sword and shield 🛡️ USWest server LOD just wasn't as good in vanilla D2 nobody had the same items we would compare our yellow items in our 8v8 private games 8 babas killing each other until dawn😂 😂😂 amazing times!!!!

That DIABLO fight is SPOT ON!!!! when you & the group are all doing him for the 1st time!!!! Played this game shortly after it first came out & before LoD. 1st time I was ever up until 6am playing on dial-up while myself as a poorly made Barbarian + about 3-4 others w/ shitty gear & equally shitty weapons died & died again...using each others TPs to get back to rinse & repeat.
