I believe AK did a Tarrytown visit a couple months ago. But with Halloween fast-approaching, maybe he can be enticed to Sleepy Hollow and the Headless Horseman, haunted houses and a spooky Halloween Hayride. Just thinking out loud..

Thank you, ActionKid again, for taking me with you on a tour around this pretty small town. This was (again) a nice little (virtual) escape from my hospital-bed as i`m quite tied to it after a little surgery on my spine. One of those fine days, when we all can travel again, i wanna visit NY again. I think, Germany and NYC will bounce back in 2021. We will recover from this situation. Cheers from Cologne :-)

Beautiful Cold Spring. I grew up on Fair St. The old buildings are the same, but the Mom and Pop stores are gone. It was beautiful growing up there. Got married and left in 1971. The town is too commercial now.... but beautiful all the same. I really enjoyed this video, thank you.

Wonderful introduction to a charming village with popular and artsy shops in a bucolic setting. Love the name 'Moo-Moo' ice cream.. You got the 'scoop' on that, hehe. So many ice cream places. Lots of young, well-heeled ppl activity. As the leaves turn, I hope you can get out of the City to document the Fall colors -- is there a secret, country/nature near-term Fall foliage vid in the works??

I dabble in collectibles and artwork. Gotta do your homework! Cold Springs in a huge hub for this. Been a while since I’ve been there; seems like the big antique stores are disappearing, replaced by food venues. They better be careful. No antiques and the cafes disappear. I wouldn’t take the trip anymore. Should have seen it twenty years ago. Take 22 north. It is full of mom and pop antique stores
@J3unG4 жыл бұрын
No wonder the place has those krazy home prices. Apparently it attracts that horrible set of people that goes 'antiquing'. I'll make a note to stay the heck away from there next time I'm out in that area. Nauseating, really.
@marti_flute4 жыл бұрын
It still looks very inviting for me. I'm not looking for antiques though. We had many in the house where I grew up in NJ. Too bad the real estate is probably very high, but for a day trip it looks good.

Awesome vid of a quaint suburb. I love the comprehensive coverage of Queens and Brooklyn on your channel. Would be cool if you did some vids going through some Hispanic neighborhoods in the Bronx; perhaps a Friday evening or Saturday afternoon stroll through those neighborhoods can capture the vibrant Puerto Rican/Dominican street vibes.
