Looking at the awesome performance of the Samurai, I am having fond memories of my former smoker. We had a made-in-Japan Ind-Suzuki AX100 from 1986 until 2015. As per company spec sheet it used to produce 8.25 Bhp at the crank. But, during its first engine rebuild in 2005, our mechanic increased the bore size and man it was a screamer back then. It will be very sedate at lower rpms. But, once the meat of the power band kicks in, there's no stopping. It pushes the entire traffic backwards. Unfortunately, the bike got submerged in the 2015 Chennai floods and no mechanic in our vicinity was willing to work on it. So, ultimately we sold the bike. Though, I am using a Dominar 400 now since 2017, the AX will forever be the best bike I have ever had.
