I predict Singed will build chem-tech weapons for Ambessa and the Noxian military. We already know in-lore that he does this during Noxus’ war with Ionia and Ambessa has already asked for Hex-tech weapons. My theory is that Jayce will realise that the growth of Hex-tech can’t be managed if outside of Piltover. So, with Singed captured Ambessa will ask him as an alternative. Maybe that’s how he gets his shield from the game too. What do you think?

To help out with lore and also adding my own prediction on the large head in Zaun, in the game's lore Viktor has a church dedicated to "The Grey Lady", the church is also named "Church of the Glorious Evolved" which shows that Viktor will get his Glorious Evolution in season 2, also Vi's game lore is basically just police brutality.

i'll make a summary of vi's and jinx's LOL lore, starting with vi and then jinx after. Vi was deeply active in criminal and gang activity in the undercity (Zaun) from childhood to adult years. She formed her own gang and became renowned for her looks as well as the fact that she'll take any business she can handle, and was also known for her morals to avoid hurting or involving anyone who is unrelated in her crimes. She regularly clashed with other gangs, until one day this caused the untimely death of an owner for a large mine in the undercity as well as damaging the structural integrity of the mines, which effectively endangered a lot of people around and within the area. With her magical-tech gauntlets, Vi single-handedly took down the entire gang and cleared out the mines, becoming a hero in the undercity as well as a legend. Around this time she also found a mentor who improved her morals and skills. Then, that large feat in the undercity made Vi reputable enough that she joined with a higher level of the Piltover enforcers called the "Wardens," where she presently keeps Piltover safe (and does her best to minimize crime in the undercity as well.) She knows of Jinx and is very familiar with her as they have clashed many times, but Vi has been unable to catch Jinx or her acts of violence within the two cities. It was not confirmed within the game UNTIL arcane's release that they are, in fact, sisters.

Don’t get me wrong happy endings can be and have been made well, but many just seem either way too predictable or doesn’t make too much sense. I think in arcane since there are so many conflicts within that story, it’s definitely hard to somehow fix everyone’s problems in one season since s2 is the last one of arcane. But I mean so much was shown in such little time in s1 and it all felt natural. The development of the story was so fast but didn’t feel rushed. So since Lol did such a good job with that maybe somehow a happy ending can be reasonably made. Although whatever actually happens in s2 I’m sure it will be brilliant whether it’s positive or not.

Ohhhhh I love psychological deep dives on characters. If they had had a full season dedicated to Daenerys going mad with focus on her mental state deteriorating that would've been so good. I like all of GOT even the later seasons have good moments, and I do think George won't have Dany get into power; he's very anti establishment in his writing so going back to that feels off. But this would've taken it to the next level thrones is known for. I also love Bluestar's descent into madness. It's frustrating, and you feel for her warriors but you understand her pain too. Especially after reading her super edition. I will always think she should've retired though 😅

I was thinking the same thing! More than that, Schnee's theory about Vi mistaking Warwick as a nightmare hallucination, only to find out he's very much real in the end, and is forced to fight him (symbolically fighting her own inner demonstration to an extent). Doesn't that sound exactly like how Puss thought Death was a bounty hunter and believed he was hallucinating him, up until it's revealed the he was real the whole time? And to top it off, they're both wolf's, and and the animation style is so similar!

Based off what people are saying from the leaks it seems that she more so has induced Hallucinations through destructive behaviors like alcohol, and possibly head trauma from the fights (apparently she starts losing more towards the end of the montage). Most of the hallucinations we see from her are from induced states like bleeding out (episode 6), head trauma and drinking when we saw Vander (episode 9), and with this leak as most people describing it mentioned how she gets drunk to the point that she has to be brought home by a friend with her room filling up with bottles as the montage goes. I doubt they'll make her full blown Jinx psychosis (Jinx had a sign/hint since the first episode) but more of what we know from season 1, but explored more as Vi is now in this dark pit without purpose where she's being extremely self destructive.

Yeah, I think Vi hallucinating after drinking and being beaten up by Sevika, is essentially going to be a microcosm of her low point in season 2. Which is poetic, because when she went to fight Sevika in the Last Drop, she thinks she's lost everyone (having pushed away Caitlyn, thinking Ekko was killed on the bridge, and nearly getting shot by Jinx).

@@DLxxx Yep, I just think that this was important information in the distinction of Vi and Jinx's expressions of trauma and their psychologies. I was on twitter when people started tweeting about the leak and a lot of people said that she has the same issues as Jinx because mental illness can have genetic ties, but the show has set it up (whatever it is I won't try and diagnose either of them) as a different thing already (in how it affects her, why it happens, and when it happens) in season 1 which is more consistent with the information from the leak (For instance with Jinx there was a hint in episode 1 that Powder was already afflicted in some way in the opening scene, we didn't get a hint with Vi). With Jinx instead of there being a focus on external forces bringing on the hallucinations (Vi - blood loss, alcohol, head trauma) it's a more constant thing going on inside her that gets worsened by internal forces (paranoia). Also Vi's instances seem to try and help her in a way? (at least to my interpretation) Caitlyn helping Vi was overlapped by her mother tending to her, Vander giving her a pep talk, and I believe people where saying that in the leak loved ones where yelling at her (or telling her, IDK which) to stop drinking. Where as Jinx ends up put down by all but her Vi hallucinations. I imagine the juxtaposition to the Vander scene is she'll no longer be listening or trying like she did in episode 9.

@@juniper1350 No, thats the sign for Jinx that I was referring to. That sign was stylistically connected to Jinx's psychosis with the scratch marks. Absolutely none of Vi's hallucinations have had any of the those stylistic choices to connect or even suggest that was her perception. Nor has anyone said the her season 2 stuff has scratch marks. Jinx's stuff almost always had scratch marks associated. In the final episode quite literally all Jinx was perceiving for a minute was scratch marks. The visual animation story telling connected it to Jinx's hallucinations, not too Vi's.

I understand Vi's character on a personal level, she's more of a protector in a typically "masculine" way, and struggles with it in a typically "masculine" way too (she needs to take action, fight for those she loves, and when she has no one she becomes a violent mess towards herself and others), I understand that in a more "traditionally feminine" way, I used to need others to define me as a person by how good I made them feel emotionally.

Adora did put everyone ahead of herself all the time throughout 5 seasons, to the point of sacrificing her whole being for the sake of the planet AND certain (or so she thought) defeat of an immortal enemy from Mara's time in the final one was expected, if painful, and the only one who calls out first from all the cast, how effed up that is was her lifelong frenemy Catra, and she's the only who calls Adora out again just before the endgame part of the series starts. We're so used to the hero sacrifices themselves that we forget what happens after they sacrifice themselves...and stay alive. They need to live with what they've done, good and bad, and when they're alone after all that, what was the point? (Simon from Gurren Lagan is the best example. Jack from Samurai Jack got a better ending from a video game, and without Catra saving Adora from the monster/virus planted by her own people, Prime would've won by semantics.)

To add on to your idea of a wedge growing between Vi and Caitlyn, I wonder if it’s going to be some kind of twisted Vander-Silco situation. There were a lot of parallels between Vander and Silco’s broken relationship in season one with Vi and Jinx, but after Caitlyn’s mother dies, I wonder if Caitlyn, although she may truly be trying to be diplomatic (or at least thinks she is) , turns to a path of violence like Silco (maybe not in the sense of killing people, but she’s certainly not afraid to use violent/Hextech-based means to achieve her goals (like Silco using Shimmer?)). Vi in the first season was Hell-bent on violently ending Silco’s reign, but after witnessing the loss of her sister as Powder turning into Jinx and the unbearable pain wrought by that transformation, she may question violent means to end war or free people, similar to Vander trying to maintain peace while only using violence as necessary/as a means of defense (I wonder if that question started haunting Vi in season one- she scolds Jayce when he backs out after killing a child, but considering how much she was still dotting on this kid-image of Powder and even Milo and Claggor, that might’ve started her descent in some small way…). I’m not sure how this would work out between the two, but I’m curious to see how far it goes. … Why do we have to wait 4 more months for answers? 😂 Awesome insight as always, Schnee!

I like this alot because it would add to vi just deteriorating in mental health with an extra dose of identity crisis. Being someone in season one who always fed the fist if your mouth isnt working and violence being a big part of her escapism but also what she starts to question alot and that can add to her regret of the past too. I think a likely scenario for the conflict with Cait is that Vi pulls the same trick as in episode 5 when she went to fight Sevika. She will promise to face Jinx together, then deceive Cait and their team into going to the wrong location and try to fight Jinx all by herself, nearly getting herself killed until Cait figures it out and shows up at the last second to help her

Man can I relate to the "Pit Fighter Vi" you're describing. Minus the pit fighting part, that was my 1st year of (failed attempt at) college. It's pretty common for parentified kids (especially ones with trauma) to go through some form of this once they're "freed" from the role of caregiver/protector. You have no sense of self, and you realize those who leaned on you were actually helping to hold you up. Feeling like you failed to protect or even caused harm in your attempts to protect, will crush you to the point you think you deserve to suffer. Vi is going to blame herself for all the people Jinx killed, including Vander.

Vi having her own demons/hallucinations would at least hammer home to people who ignore Vi's suffering that she has issues to. Plus, such things tend to run in families IIRC... If Act I is Cait and Vi doing the three initial objectives as an Act I effort, I could see this them trying to find a narrow way through. I've theorized that Cait's three objectives were an attempt to find a narrow way through - enough of a show of force to appease warmongers like Ambessa planning on getting involved from a genocidal war, while restricting the targets to the people who either were directly responsible (Jinx) or who need to be dealt with either way (Silco's shimmer operations trapping Zaun in a cycle of dependency on the drug). And then it goes horribly wrong - they tried with the best of intentions, but it doesn't work. That would massively burn out both of them - they both tried to hold onto their good hearts, but it was just too little and by the time they were in a position to change anything it was too late. Vi's thrown away a lot for this and nothing came of it, Caitlyn's probably loathing herself for perpetuating the cycle as she wants to try and end it, they flame out for a bit and Vi drinks herself into oblivion to get away from it all while Cait throws herself into her work. Only question is has Noxus already shown up in force, or is the timeskip the time it takes for Ambessa to mobilize her troops to invade Zaun for revenge for Mel's injuries or death? TBH I wasn't sure on a timeskip since I felt like everything was hinting at things really coming together in a way that wouldn't allow for a massive jump like Season 1 had, but maybe this time it's only a few months and after an initial period of fighting where both sides have fired their load and need to back off and regroup. And Noxus would be a force that could bring the timeskip to an end and force Vi to wake up from her stupor if it's clear that Noxus is going to raze Zaun in an orgy of blood and violence to secure Piltover and its strategically vital hexgates as a vassal or new conquest... only question is what is the objective? Are they trying to salvage the original three, or is it something else?

Well if nothing else, we do know that the end result in some way or another must lead to Cait and Vi standing together to fight off infiltrating Noxians from the Warriors trailer so... even if they don't like 'recreate' that scene or nothing, it's technically 'canon' alongside the show right? I expect a Noxian invasion is going intrude on a lot of character arcs.

I think its's an interesting theory about Jinx protecting Vi, especially since in episode one when Vi breaks down at seeing their parents dead, its Powder her drapes herself over her crying sister to protect and comfort her. Vi does protect Jinx a lot but it wasn't always a one way street, its a restriction Vi placed on Powder who has always wanted to protect her too.

From what I've learned after I watched the show, it sounds like the fighting pit is a reference back when the "League of Legends" was a real diegetic thing and everyone's motivation was fighting the best people in the world to win some big prize thing. They later changed it so that the lore and the gameplay were more separate, (I think?) and the characters had motivations based on their backstories and respective cities. My theory is that season 2 is the time travel multiverse craziness arch, where Echo and Heimerdinger (and maybe some others) go back in time to fix stuff and everytime they do everything gets even worse. So maybe Jinx and Vi have their heart to heart where they understand each other but everything else in their world is so bad that it needs reset again. I'm not sure how likely that is though.

My heart breaks for Vi. 😭 And even though I don’t want to see her suffering even more, maybe people will discount her pain less after seeing her "Korra Alone" type arc. Also, I am pretty sure Caitlyn's mom is dead, and I wonder what that means for Cait and Vi's romantic relationship. Like in game, Jinx is more of a goofy, chaos gremlin that Caitlyn tolerates, but killing her mom is a whole other thing. ☠️ Will be interesting to see how they handle that in just nine episodes. Watching this video and you talking about the potential ending got me thinking. Specifically that one iconic shot you showed of warwick being green. I found this interesting because green has been associated with the ekko and the present, which is so iteresting because warwick is literally the past come back to haunt the sisters. Then you also mentioned how we got no vision of ekko, and remembering everything about your ekko video, i feel like one of the only ways for the piltover vs zaun conflict to be remedied (not completely, but enough where we can see potential good for the future of these characters) is if ekko saves the present moment in some way. I think maybe one side of the war (porbably piltover, representing the future) is planning some really devestating move that would wipe out alot of the other side, ending the war but wiping out so much of the people alive in the present. Ekko, caring about people over the big picture plans i think puts it to a stop, but before he can jinx is trying to do something chaotic that could destroy everyone and stop ekko. Then maybe the fight between jink and vi breaks out, causing the conflict of the past to be brought up. Then, who comes in forcing them to choose the presentover the past? Vander! Which is why he is green! And then the future and past finally reconcile causing people to prioritize the present, which could be the first steps to peace. But this is all just my wild speculation based off of colour pallets :p

My fave fic explores Vi and Jinx both potentially inheriting the same mental illness from a parent has but Vi (and eventually Jinx) recognizing it and taking the steps to manage it healthily. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this in the comments yet, but I think (and some other people theorize this too) that "This face" is the chem baron Margot, from season one. I like to think that this scene takes place in her territory. Maybe the chem barons go to war with eachother, because of the power vacuum left behind by Silco's death. The statue behind Jinx is probably the Wind Goddess Janna (a league character). She was very loved in the lowest layers of the undercity. Anyway, love your videos and I am very excited for season 2 and all your content that comes with that.

Ok so, act 1. Cait, vi, the firelights and the enforcers go afther the three objectoves, shit goes ass up and vi either lets jinx go or betrays caitlyn in some way related to her. They separate. Viktor and Jayce fight and vik goes to the undercity. Act 2. Vi's breakdown, she is questioning everything and thinks about joining piltover in the fight against whatever is happening lol. Cait is training and on her way to be a sheriff, probably touching shoulders w ambessa. The chembarons are fighting each other as well as piltover (so zaun vs zaun vs piltover). Lots of politics, people angry bc of attacks all over piltover and stuff, talks abt war. Ambessa is manipulating Jayce and vik is in zaun helping ppl w the hexcore, also, he went back to singed. Act 3. Noxus joins the fight against zaun and shit goes down lol. Zaun gains its independence and cait together w either mel or jayce (and vi) change the whole enforcer system and become the wardens. Vander reconciliates vi and jinx and probably dies. Jinx either goes to an asylum or they negotiate some sort of deal to keep her out of piltover.

Good analysis as always. Particularly the outcome of Vi/Jinx/Warwick. Although I wish Vi didn't have to kill to prove her love to Jinx, even if it makes sense thematically. Doesn't feel like healing, more like validation of Jinx's perspective. Duality is indeed a big part of this story so it makes sense, but part of me would hope for an outcome that breaks the cycle of violence between them. None the less, your take on it is probably close. Good stuff. I would add that Ambessa must certainly play a role in all of this as well. But maybe that's more to do with Caitlyn. Grayson vs Ambessa. "Begs the question young Kiramman, what are you shooting for?" VS "Wrath must be met with wrath". Or something of the like. Only thing I disagree with is Enforcer Vi with Claggor's goggles being in Act 3 (the scenes we've seen so far specifically). Her appearance there is identical to what is presumed to be the Act 1 showdown. Hair length, age, etc. My guess is that "My sister is gone" is the fallout from the Act 1 confrontation, and the beginning of the parting of Vi and Caitlyn. Until they - fingers crossed - Reconcile end of Act 2 or beginning of Act 3. Edit: Vi and Caitlyn parting ways end of Act 1 would also be a call back to Vi and Jinx parting in Act 1. Which is why I think it's Caitlyn who will break it off, livid with the outcome, failing to kill Jinx. I'm absolutely dreading cold ruthless Caitlyn. Hopefully they'll find each other again and put each other in a better state. Ok, I'll stop fanboying now.

Watching season 2, i think she didnt get the treatment she deserved. She deserved more scenes about her pit fighting era. More scenes diving deep into her trauma and into her depression. Mental breakdowns would be great too as Vi is one of the charachters who suffered the MOST. All we got was a 2minute music clip and everything just came to and end right after that. Its just disappointing. As a hardcore vi fan i was extremely upset.
