Thank you for the video! This is not a summary but some stuff i want to remember from the video 1. Sit straight 2. Put 60 mins timer 3. Go inside your awareness and try to become aware of your awareness of yourself 4. This sense is constantly changing, so try to get a sense of that in the present moment (not from a story or belief)- "who do you feel you are?" 5. Find the perceiver who is perceiving all the emotional and physical sensations in the present moment. 6. Ask yourself "Who is aware?" "Who is perceiving?" "Who am I?" (Try asking this question after you have practiced this process for a while) You are looking for an experience of your being, not a logical response. * The voice is not actually you *

here's how you become enlightened. put a white sock on your left hand and call him Zenmaster. put a black sock on your right hand. and call him George(or Carl or whatever you wanna call him). Send George on a great journey to meet the Zenmaster. when he finally meets the Zenmaster he asks the master... "master how can i reach . how do i become " have Zenmaster respond "my child, you already ARE . when George comes to realize that there is no George and that he's actually a sock puppet being played by . and that he and Zenmaster are actually the same person... you will become enlightened. all you have to do is take george on this journey and help him realize that he's a made up character created by you. :) and that there is no george.

As the Great Alan Watts has stated in many of his lectures , the reason why you are not enlightened is the very reason you wish to be enlightened. In simpler terms , youre not enlightened because you believe you're not enlightened and that you have to go through some sort of journey to attain it . Enlightenment is accessible for all humans at any given moment in their life it is similar to accessing happiness, confidence or joy it all comes from within. When you seek it through books , mentors and online videos might be witnessing other people's enlightenment but yours can only come from within when you admit that you do indeed "possess" it its just a matter of understanding how to access it .
@6ear_rsa5 жыл бұрын
Actually didn't think about it that way. As I was doing my research on Enlightenment I realized that at most I relate to the supposed why I should be responding to the techniques stated which felt odd but never really wondered why. Maybe we actually do "posses" Enlightenment we just have to steady figure how to access it. Thanks, helped actually.

For me, this phrase I've heard sums it up in a way that makes sense: "I'm a spiritual being having a human experience." I also like the mantra while meditating that says, "I am not the body; I am not the mind." People who return from near death experiences say that we are all one, that there is actually no separation between any of us. We are love and truth (which has gotten skewed badly over time to believing we are not). And I learned from Dr. Eben Alexander that consciousness lies OUTSIDE of the mind. No doctor has ever been able to find consciousness in the brain. Our brains are simply filters to slow down real consciousness so we can function in this life. (According to Dr. Alexander, consciousness speeds way up when we leave our bodies).

4 STEPS TO ENLIGHTENMENT:- 1. Practice mindfullness with an object (breath) 2 . Be mindfull without any object (be aware) 3 . Stop noticing your mind and body or any physical thing and start being aware of your awareness (ask questions like ,who am i?, Where my awareness is coming from , can anything exist without this awareness?, am i the reality itself ?etc.) 4 . Rest in your awareness and realise that you are the awareness itself . Remember when you will do this you will feel a kind of fear when you will be becoming nothing(nirvaana), dont be afraid of it but, if nothingness scares you, just be present be super mindfull be aware of your awareness, this is all you have to do. And remember there is no-one to become enlighten. You just are whatever you can see is you.

enlightenment is so amazing! it's like life is a movie my awareness is watching! there's no judgement, no emotion, no pain! its like a glimpse into eternity and im hooked!
@elliotgale4708 жыл бұрын
***** it's actually quite logical if you think about it: its easy to see what's wrong with other people's lives because we see it from an objective perspective, this is nigh impossible to do with our own life situations though because we are living it from a 1st person pov. enlightenment allows you to see your own life from an expanded or elevated perspective, suddenly you become aware of what's truly going on in the present moment. when you truly understand something, you accept it in a way you can't when you don't understand it. consider someone walking down a dark, country night road. i don't care who you, its going to be eerie and unsettling. but enlightenment turns the darkness into day and suddenly the experience turns from fear and apprehension to one of peace and tranquility. nature illuminated is much more serene than when its shrouded in darkness because you see that there is nothing to fear. fear itself is an illusion in your mind, a feeling that something bad will happen (though it hasn't happened yet) because you don't understand anything. expand your awareness and suddenly life isn't about trying to walk a tightrope with the potential for pain everywhere you look, but a broad, even parkway where you are surrounded by beautiful and wondrous sights wherever you look. do you see?
@elliotgale4708 жыл бұрын
you don't have to apply anything. simply becoming more aware is the process in and of itself. there's nothing for you to do. the moment you start thinking is the moment you begin putting limitations on your consciousness. thinking is false. knowing is truth. these two realities are all there is, and one is an illusion. so really there is only one.
@elliotgale4708 жыл бұрын
***** sorry if i confused you, of course i still feel pain and emotion, what i meant was it it no longer has to control me or my responses. i would not be human if i did not feel those things.
@elliotgale4708 жыл бұрын
***** there's nothing wrong with thinking. in fact, it's made our lives far more comfortable than it it used it, however, the problem comes when you believe that your thoughts are reality. this is a very difficult concept to get your mind around. our thoughts are labels we place on things to make sense of the world around us. its like when you're looking at clouds and one looks like a face so you call it that. but you know its not a face, its only your mind creating patterns out of clumps of water vapour (which btw, aren't even that). do you see how everything that your mind labels as stuff is nothing more than patterns your mind has categorized? do you REALLY understand this? just look at a tree. you call it a tree because it looks like a tree, but then it falls down and dies, disintegrates and suddenly its no longer a tree. that should tell you that it was never a tree but something that 'looked' like a tree for a while and then didn't, just like a cloud. the only difference is that trees manage to retain their form much longer than clouds do. everything is this way. nothing is what it seems. even you aren't what you seem. think about that. or better yet, KNOW that. how can you be your body when your cells are constantly dying and being born, yet 'you' are still you. this should tell you that 'you' are something beyond your body which changes with time.
@elliotgale4708 жыл бұрын
***** i've come to realize that self-awareness is all there is. everything has it to a certain degree, making the universe like a variegated landscape of consciousness. what i haven't gained any insight into, however, is whether self-awareness is the final purpose of the universe (making it something like an evolving, self-learning, self-improving computer) or if the fact the universe is increasingly self-aware a byproduct of its fundamental structure. pretty heady stuff.

I am meditator since long time and actually knew a lot of stuff about enlightenment and conscioussmess by knowing, but for the first time I am able to experience consciousness. I think enlightenment is different than consciousness. But from what you said you are the perceiver, that moment it changed my perception. There is one simple thing which I have followed, whatever I touch, see or hear I consider them as perception and i did not perform those tasks actually. For Example, if I saw a person, I did not see that person my eyes did and I perceived that information through my eyes. Thanks a lot

Wake up @4am,🍄 meditation (with intention & focus & intention), expand yourself awareness out through all space beyond body. Dispenza "becoming supernatural" is way to do it with no 🍄. Let go of judgement and outcome. Experience your infinite self. You will be awake fast! Know that you are an enormous spiritual being and more beyond that.. Intention is key! Stay focused but relaxed and allow and accept. Great video BTW 👍 These are great questions to meditate on. The reason meditation takes years is because people are doing it wrong. This video is basically describing a real meditation. Keep intention, let go of worldly thoughts(you are not your thoughts!), refocus, practice every day and you will get there! BTW don't accept & believe it must take a lot of time!! Let all beliefs go along with their emotions! It took me 1 month from start to first time, but really only one hour of letting go of everything with a single intention of sensing my enormous greater self and expanding my awareness with each breath over the room, yard, city, state, country, world, then all of space. Only you can limit or slow your awakening. Early in the morning (with no alarm releasing all concerns) is THE best time. If you have distraction do it at 4 am when your brain chemistry is best. Use a fit-bit vibrate alarm to wake after a rem cycle detected using Android sleep app.

I´ve been in a constant personal journey of enlightenment through my whole life and there have been random moments where for a split of a second I can actually feel and perceive another very beautiful state of consciousness. As Leo mentioned (9:51) this state is totally spontaneously and every time I can try to pinpoint it or control it then *puff* it vanishes. I still can´t find the way to replicate it or even understand it but I guess that´s all about, you cannot.
@AdamPUnger3 жыл бұрын
I struggled for a couple of months with what you are talking about at about 12 minutes - that inner feeling or sense of me and other. Then i read Ken Wilber’s chapter on unitary consciousness in no boundary and he just so artfully writes that just as when you think a thought you cant find a thinker, when you have a feeling you cant feel the feeler. So the feeling of the sense of me is just that feeling arising but there is no feeler - boom 💥 . Its just the feeling itself arising and then passing away.

Enlightenment cannot be achieved. its a shift in consiousness when realizing what you are not. I am skeptical about step by step techniques to reach enlightenment bust must admit that i watched the full hour and some pointings did appeal to me. But in the end of this video i ask myself : what is the purpose of enlightenment ? because the practising takes up 3 - 12 months, he says, when youre really dedicated. That's a future date, and future is time, and time belongs to mind. So, what comes to me is that, that the DESIRE to reach Enlightenment is there, because of the hope that it will give you an advantage, a desired outcome. Im not saying practice is wrong, its also part of the whole. Wanting to reach some spiritual enlightenment, can be still, another trap, an avoidance to stay out of the reality of this moment.

+Erik Hilbrands What this guy seems to consider enlightenment is another hill on the side of a mountain. It's really great to "get" there, with effort, or effortless. But if you don't see the other mountain(s) directly in front of you you probably aren't really at the top of the hill yet. Probably why the Buddhists (I'm not one) focus so much on compassion. Once you get to this hilltop perfectly you realize this emptiness is missing pretty much..well..everything you've enjoyed so far, and you're not really enlightened at all. It's real brutal honesty, not amateur (lovely, but yes amateur) flimflamery. .
@omrijoker8 жыл бұрын
+Erik Hilbrands the trick is to put the inner search and practice of the present moment above all else which naturally makes the end goal of "enlightenment" take a backseat. the statement of 3-12 months is just the realistic expectation of how long it might take to reach that end goal but yet again the "end goal" is not the focus point. a way I found resourceful is to treat it almost like learning and mastering a skill like playing an instrument or some sport. it's important to note that the skill isn't enlightenment itself but is what raises your chance to at a singular spontaneous point blast into it. this way you don't even "worry" about enlightenment itself because you're focusing on mastering a skill (self looking, wondering/pondering the nature of your existence or whatever other name you call it)

Leo, I empathize with your frustration and desperation at attempting to educate the public with the subject matter presented as is. Explaining a construct like enlightenment is often utterly futile to those whom lack an awareness that exceeds the level dominated by their artificial intelligence called ego. The presenter, Leo is wanting to share with us (excepting the vulgar explicative) the method or process for shifting one's awareness focus from the egocentric perspective to that of our true nature of a non-local quantum awareness, light body. The tools for raising the emotional frequency of the body's survival perspective to our unconditional conscious awareness can be daunting and overwhelming if not approached with the simple knowledge that the path to enlightenment does not exist; we must let go of that idea and be that which we are already. Leo presented some simple basic techniques that require further explanation and instruction. Hence, the traps of which he speaks are inherent within the DNA structure of the body. The DNA structure is made of frequency inhibitors the secure awareness to a specific three dimensional local. That is its purpose. We can over come those barriers simply by shifting one's emotional perspective of awareness to higher frequencies of light and emotions by choice. The key to stepping away from any barrier is to acknowledge its presence and (let it go) choosing a different point of view. HOW TO LET GO The main barrier to awareness is the identification with our creations, i.e., our desires, thoughts and emotions. All these (creations) are constructs that make up the illusion of the matrix of physical reality shaped by our perceptions. This conscious reality is both a distraction and an illusion that is sustained by our collective participation of the matrix. First acknowledge that physical reality could be just a mask. Who is wearing the mask? We are the underlying observer as pure awareness watching the drama unfold. Momentarily, step away from the drama of your story to tranquilly observe the events, which allows us to directly experience the timeless state, our source of creation. We are the cause of all-that-is, creation. From the still, silent eternity of oneness, we know all creation because we are first cause. So how do we detach from the identification process that created our personality, the artificial persona we call "ego." We simply observe our thought processes, sitting silently, watching the thoughts as if displayed on a computer screen without emotionally identifying with them. The consequence of observing without judgment or criticism allows awareness to detach from emotion and become mentally silent. The moment we "let go" of all attachment with any belief, thought, label, name, idea or desire, we are unconditional awareness. The mask is our attachment to the persona of our creations. Release the attachments and all you have left is awareness, pure awareness of all-that-is. Thank you all for being alive and aware; we are all that is.

Hey Leo, I would love to hear your take on psychedelics. They're definitely not a necessity for enlightenment or anything, but they are a helpful tool that can aid you in the process. What do you think? Have you ever had a psychedelic experience?

Your Mate Tom I trust you on this. They definitely make you question the "reality". But what happens when you get sober? You bluff and and say they were just thoughts. However there is a benefit of doing this sober. Because you don't fall back to the matrix. No doubt, psychedelics kick-starts the journey when moderated.

IMO, psychedelics offer a nice 'sneak peak' into what's possible. For example, I had a hard time internalizing ego death, until I smoked DMT. And then it was like, 'Oh... so that's what that is' :)

LOVE your videos, Leo! You have a way of talking and teaching that sucks me in every time. As for this particular vid..when you asked "Who are you? Who am I?"... I realized I have no idea who I am.. and I'm nothing.. then my ego stepped in and made me feel sad bc I don't know who I am. It's kind of like living with a spouse for 25 yrs..thinking you KNOW that person so well, and then wake up after 25 yrs spent together to find out he's a serial killer. You realize u never truly knew the person. Well, this is how this journey to enlightenment made me feel.. but it also made me feel calm and in awe at the same time.

Hi Leo, I had an experience of full enlightenment back in 2019, my life has been so intensely distorted since that I crave to harness that way of being. I chose not to talk about it because people would and have laughed labeling me. I would really like insight into that time in my life, I would like to share my experience.. perhaps that could be you.

It so fucking simple if you are there, but it is not really possible to explain ^^. I would describe it as that: "Dont think with your thoughts, think with your inner self" .... the inner self is a state before you where born (before you get information) ... all thoughts are information, but you are you and you need not to listen to them. But if you are in the state like i am they are only things in your had you experience (like something you safe in a foto album). They are present in your head but you have a kind off emptiness beside these thoughts and that is you in the moment. This emptiness has nothing in it, because that is you, like you would do it without being told to do it like that. I always wanna describe this enlightment like a universe without anything (no body, no world, nothing). And you are in it as something that is empty, that is in itself nothing (it does not exist). You are empty but you deside what you want to do in that. You have no thoughts before, because no one is in that that gave you that thoughts. That means you are really empty. You are nothing but you have nothing that can create things, that can deside things, that can differ between things without being existent. It is not like a thought (a thought is something that is created by something that is nothing and tells you to think something). I try myself to explain it, but i am not able to. XDDD I had my enlightment, wenn i started to thing about others and why they do things and i found out that alot off things are nonsense in itself. In the end i came up with thoughts to the first girl i was into and failed. I thought about everything and restructured myself by eliminating this matrix thinking. The second girl i met i came up with no thoughts only with a sort of instinct that was not a thought, i had thoughts beside that (What should i ask? Am i looking good? and so on (that was this voice)) but i ignored it and started talking about what i want without this thinking. After this day i saw my hole world in a new perspective and i had to laugh. We always think there is something behind something but that is only a story of some nothing that had told you that, and you have to believe it because off that matrix thinking
@ActualizedOrg9 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you got it. Good work!
@wtfomgiic9 жыл бұрын
+Actualized.org The thing is you need not to meditate and study like hell to get to that state. It helps but it does not clear your mind really. It fills it with new thoughts. That was my case. To get in that state where i am you really need to have experience of your feelings (someone dies, someone lost a job and you feel with him, all that kind of things). But you need to analyse it at that moment you experience it and think about that why you feel that way. I did this with everything i experience in my life (also the most little thing that you can experience). The last question i had as a thought was: "How is it with a girl? (and all that beside thinking)". After that second experience no question was in my head at all, nothing. The only thoughts i have is i want to do this and want to do that, but i never have to ask myself again how i react to that situation and so on, because i dont need to. Maybe that helps if you are not there, because i say it is amazing to be you (yourself).

I was so naive when it occurred, thirty years later, I have some more integration. I concur that these steps are a quick way to knowledge!

In my opinion Enlightenment is an ongoing process. You don't just arrive there. Enlightenment means, in my opinion, one has made a decision to strive to be conscious always. Reminding yourself you are not your thoughts or emotions you are the one who perceives your thoughts and emotions. It is an ongoing process.

Maybe I am just rationalizing this, but I think that elightment is deeply connected with the present moment. What we think is present is actually past. We literally see the past. For example, in a large scale, when we look at the sun, we see it as it was about 8 minutes ago. And the same principle, in much smaller scale, applies on everything. When I look at my hand, I see it like miliseconds in the past. I can't even feel it, because of the speed of signals in my cells. Even thoughts are past, because there is a tiny bit of time between the birth and the perception of a thought. And I think that enlightment is about making the little step from the what-we-think-is-present to the actual present, which is basicly nothingness :-)

I think that enlightenment may be the EXPERIENCE of our brains 100% focused on our senses in the present moment - leaving 0% of the brain's capacity to slip into the endless depths of our minds: stories, baggage, identity, past, future, thoughts, worries and imagination. I think that the blissful experience of enlightenment may be the freedom of having no thoughts - to just BE and EXIST in real time without analysis. To be light. Enlightened. Without the heavy weight of thought. I think that we are simply (in reality, massively complex) only our bodies and our brain. Our brain creates a representation of what our senses are picking up from the particles around us - reality. Our brain stores the data it receives. Our brain creates thoughts. We are our brain. The brain is the perceiver. There are some great moments of self awareness in this video to wake us up from the fiction and stress that we create in our own minds which IS NOT REALITY!

One of the attributes of a good teacher is to convey the teaching in a manner that is simple for the students to understand. No need to confuse the students with mind puzzles and endless talk. Spiritual enlightenment is not something you work at to get. It is something the universe/the one/central source/ God happily hands to you when you are spiritually ready. When are you ready? Have a look at the ascended master teachers the universe had sent into this planet (Jesus, Buddha, etc.). They taught humans to live their life with pure intention, benevolence, kindness, and unconditional love. Live this way 24/7 everyday, not just when you meditate, not just during prayer time, and not just when you are at a church/temple/holy place. These words are easy to say, but for many humans are difficult to carry out.

If we dont really have a concept of self awareness as a child and we are simply just being until a certain age, before we are taught or understand what self awareness is, do we all start life "enlightened". I remember as a kid, before I fell into the traps of society, that I was always happy, and maybe ignorant to the world, but still blissful. I didnt try to do things, I didnt worry about impressing people, I didnt worry about who I was or what I would do someday. I just simply lived in a state of living.

I feel you, Leo. All my life I have been questioning myself of who really am I. I always believe that who I am was not really me and that I should be somewhere else. The last four years of my life I have understood that I am on the process of spiritual enlightenment . It is a very lonely journey because nobody will understand you. I thought I was losing my mind but I've found out that there's a lot of other people who were undergoing the process of enlightenment too and reaching to them could help a lot. Spiritual enlightenment is not easy, you may experience some physical symptoms along the way. Just take it easy. Once you understand that YOU are a SPIRIT being just having a Human being experience then everything will just flow easily though sometimes slowly. You are very powerful you can manifest anything you want. As Bob Proctor says, BELIEVE and YOU WILL SEE ! Have faith. Love, light everybody 💕💥 Namaste 🙏🙏🙏
