Can’t judge her for falling off the wagon, especially after finding out her former best friend was a monster. I guess when you have a client like Montgomery, you will go as low as the courts will allow because he has no other defense except her character. Clearly, she knows her flaws and isn’t afraid to say them. Didn’t hurt her credibility imho, shows his client has no real defense. Right! My son will be 12 at the end of July and he JUST stopped wetting the bed after Christmas. He wet it every single night pretty near and at times I wouldn't buy goodnites if I didn't have the money but for the most part I was able to afford them. But for the times I couldn't he has a mattress protector and I also got 2 great big incontinence pads for his mattress. He also started randomly peeing his pants in class sometimes during November and December. Plus he has suffered from chronic constipation since he was about 4 or 5 which contributes to the pee accidents and those ones he basically didn't even realize he peed himself. And we've had times when he was on relaxa for a year at a time or longer stretches where he would have 6 or so poop accidents a day. Was it frustrating? Heck yeah. Did he get punished? NO!! I felt super frustrated at times and hopeless thinking he would never grow out of it. Plus constantly being judged by relatives thinking I was too lazy to bother potty training him properly. They also didn't take into account that he has severe adhd and mild autism to boot. But I just did my best to act like it was fine and accepted that I would be doing extra laundry until he finally grew out of it. He never got spanked or yelled at. The last thing I wanted was for him to feel embarrassed. And it's funny I finally bought a $200 bedwetting alarm just before Christmas to see if that would finally help him and couldn't get it to work while I was testing it so had to order more batteries and play with it and by the time I finally got it to work he stopped on his own so that was awesome timing I got my money back lol. But yeah I thought the other day too why didn't they have her in pull-ups in the car if she was having accidents because for one she would be so confused about when to say she had to go with them literally not having a bathroom and when kids do let you know they have to go to the bathroom they usually can't hold it long so accidents are inevitable sometimes. And she also had to have been terrified to tell them she needed to go anyways. I know I would have been. I had an abusive dad and I avoided him most times because he would fly off the handle with no warning. I do agree with someone else's comment though. There's no way they would put any money towards pull-ups because it would be less to buy drugs with. Maybe they would have if he didn't hate her so much.
