Has anyone stopped to think that Harmony may have started having accidents because she was living in a car?? She had nowhere to go if she needed to go, she was probably afraid of asking for a bathroom or she maybe didn’t understand what was going on and didn’t know what to do. Kids at that age can’t hold it as long as we can, they go more frequently, etc. I am sure the abuse she suffered was a part of her accidents but it sounds like they didn’t start until they were living out of a car and that’s a dam good reason for her to have accidents. I heard bits and pieces today that I never knew that made me physically sick. This poor beautiful girl didn’t deserve one bit of abuse, no child ever does.

It’s patronizing to expect less morally from people just because they struggle with addiction or are abused. Some people can think beyond themselves regardless of their circumstances. Getting help for an abused child is an expectation for everyone who lives in a country that makes it as easy as the US and anyone who fails to do so is morally bankrupt regardless of what other issues they have going on.

Wetting the bed , the car, or other ,is not a reason to punish your child. You need to understand that it is a sign of abuse ..s.a or a medical condition....they do not wet the bed or the car or on purpose to make you mad. They literally cannot control it. You need to seek medical care for your child immediately . You do not punish a child for it.Adults need to understand this because I see this in every child abuse cases. What y'all consider punishment is just abuse in reality. And I hope you get karma one day if you ever "punished a child" for a freaking basic need😢 hitting a child is bot going to fix it! My stepson years ago wet the bed and it broke my heart the shame he felt when it happened, he was 8 ... first few times I wrapped him in my arms and said it's okay cuz I wet the bed too, when I was your age (I didn't, but that wasn't important) I said we're not going to talk about it anymore or mention it again, and if I see you on the couch in the morning, don't worry I'll know to fix it while you're at school and by the time you get home you'll never know it happened. 😊 It didn't last much longer after that... I just didn't think it was "his" stress to have to worry about. I knew something was off kilter, we had just moved, his mother was in prison when he was born and he didn't see her for the first 2 years of his life 😢... boy had it rough enough - I wanted to take on any pain I could to prevent him from feeling it 🙏🏼 I just can not fathom a parent being able to hurt, much less end their own flesh and blood

@bluetomato8698 they need to be gone? I hope you find some empathy for addicts before someone you love becomes one. I lost custody of my son in 2011 and jumped through every hoop they told me to and got him back in 2015. I haven't touched a drug since. I'm certain my son would disagree that "I should be gone" and he lived through it. How about advocating for treatment for addicts or closing the border where all the drugs are coming through? That'd be more helpful than commenting some BS on KZbin.

I’m NOT making any excuses for these 2 monsters, but I agree that the drug epidemic is almost to the point of no return. People need to realize what drugs will do to a persons brain……it’s brain damage! Most addicts aren’t able to beat this fentanyl era we are in , and I have no idea what the answer is…….but it certainly isn’t having a lack of empathy for addicts.

According to one of the biological mom's old interviews (if im not mistaken, One of the first ones where she is explaining that she contacted them multiple times about her daughter.), he had some kind of ties with their DCYF worker or whatever. They need to have some kind of charge Judges and social workers in these kinds of trials.

@savannah5333 So, he had a connection within the system. 🤔 ... That's interesting because it sounds just like Ayla Reynolds' case. Allegedly beaten to death by her father. Her body disposed of & never found. Biological mom was working on getting clean. AND the father had a connection in the system that allowed him to get full custody. Only difference between these 2 cases is someone is finally saying the poor child is deceased & how it happened.

What is the worst for me is thinking how that sweet, precious child probably thought that all this abuse was HER fault, that she had been a "bad girl" and felt so unloved. I comfort myself that she arrived in heaven with Jesus wrapping his arms around her and that she is getting so many hugs from moms and dads who left behind their own children and is screeching with delight as she plays with the other children who also died young.❤

I was a child of severe physical abuse by my father, and my mother never intervened. But I have memories of my father beating my mother also, and she suffered broken teeth, broken ribs, black eyes and years of cuts and bruises. I understand the fear. But I still struggle with WHY my mother never helped me. This case is horrific. That poor baby had no one.

I was not abused as a child but I was abused by my ex husband for 23 and a half years. I understand having to stay quite when the abuser is raging but I would never allow him to hit the children. I disciplined them quietly so he didn't hear what was going on. If he had abused my children I would have reported him from the get go. He did however damage all of us mentally but I know he is going to have to answer to God for that one day. He also abused any animals we ever had. God will get him when the time comes.
