Several years in the making, the H200 was designed from the ground up at ADAM Audio’s R&D department in Berlin, which has expanded to include a dedicated team of industry-leading headphone engineers.
The headphone’s 40mm PEEK diaphragm drivers and patent-pending internal airflow technology deliver the exceptional sound quality for which ADAM Audio is known, with the iconic S Series used as a benchmark for tonality. Carefully considered headband physics ensure a comfortable fit, with memory foam-based earpads providing excellent isolation.
With decades of use and environmental factors in mind, modularity and materials played an important role during the development process. Both the earpads and the headband padding are easily replaceable, and the durable main cable is attachable to either side of the headphone.
A distinct advantage of the H200 is the purpose-built ADAM Audio Headphone Utility DAW plug-in, which was built in collaboration with industry partners Sonnox. The included software offers a range of optimization tools for the H200, as well as the Externalization feature that uses advanced crossfeed techniques to better translate loudspeaker mixes to headphones.

ADAM Audio was founded in March 1999 in Berlin. Since then the company has been developing, manufacturing and distributing loudspeakers in the field of Professional Audio.
The development of the X-ART (eXtended Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeter based on the 1960’s invention of the Air Motion Transformer by Oskar Heil was largely responsible for the company’s founding. Producing sound not with a piston-like diaphragm as is done in most of the loudspeakers that are on the market, but using a pleated diaphragm that is capable of moving the air 4 times faster than the folds themselves are moving was the appealing idea behind it all. The achieved results were intriguing and gave ample reason for moving forward.

I just ordered them. I'm very curious how they sound. At the moment i'm working with dt 770 pro 250hm. Hope the sound better and the software works what they promised. I can use the software in my cubase session in the control room so i don't have to dissable them when i export my mix.

Hi @inwex8350! The software offers a range of optimizations, including the Externalization feature to better translate loudspeaker mixes to headphones and vice versa. The Externalization feature includes advanced crossfeed techniques to offer a more natural representation of sound. Additionally, the plugin provides options for voicing selection and an earpad material selector. It also features a gain compensation function that makes up for perceived loudness when changes are made to other features, such as the voicing or the earpad material selector. This checks all the boxes for an closed back headphones. I have 2 damaged ATH M50x because of the bad design choices. I will never buy again from Audio Technica.
