WHAT is this place? Freshwater freediving in Thailand.

Deep Week is about to begin in Thailand so we are exploring the Phuket! Checking out the dive sites, checking out the town and having a good time with the crew!
I had no idea that there was such amazing freshwater diving in the region but we were very pleasantly surprised! We dived in one of the most random and interesting locations I've ever seen! I had no idea what this place could even be. It was wild!

There isn't a ton going on there but if you ever find yourself on the gulf coast of Florida, Warm Mineral Springs is a really trippy place to dive. It's like being on another planet. The visibility is abysmal, everything has this bizarre yellow glow, and the extreme mineral content gives a distinct rotten egg smell to the air and the most brilliant and alien looking bacteria colonies. I've never experienced a place quite like it!

It's an treated more like a strange spa experience for the locals who basically never submerge themselves, and the park is very strangely sterile feeling, which makes the contrast to the bizarre Venusian world beneath even more stunning!

I’m so glad to see a new video from you love your adventures. Be very mindful of breathing out of air pockets in caves as they can be toxic and full of recycled air very low oxygen levels. I’m sure whoever took you there knew If it was safe or not. Glad you took caution instead of going in blind. This was the most sensible thing to do 🙌🏼

Hi Adam, wonderful video. I have been following you since I started to explore freediving world, where I go to try skin dive alone, until I got myself freediving course. I would say I learn a lot from your video. I can see that you have being using Molchanovs fiberglass fins. I was thinking to upgrade my plastic fin, but I can't decide whether to get Competition Bifins 2x carbon fin or sport Bifins 2 Fiberglass fin will be good enough for me. any advise from you. and if you don't mind a review video about your fiberglass fins would be helpful.

Hello Adam, I have recently discovered your channel and although I am a freediver for quite some years and a learning geek (lol), I find a lot of interesting and very useful information in your videos. You do a very good job in a very friendly atmosphere. I wonder if you would be interested in making an informational video about known diving issues, mostly known from scuba but seen from a freediving point of view. I al talking about nitrogen narcosis, oxygen toxicity and the bents, how possible or impossible are to occur while free diving and under what circumstances. A lot of people live with a misconception about those dangers and I used to do so as well until I experienced a narcosis some years ago. Be well. :)
