16:38 after my mom got in an accident she didn’t know she had a concussion and was driving until two days later she was in the ER for it. Concussions aren’t always easy to tell for yourself especially right after something happens. The adrenaline makes you feel like you’re completely fine when you’re not. She really should’ve been examined at the games

Just to give perspective on how insane this all is in a professional setting, I really recommend looking into vids of Crowd Management experts talking about their work. Can't link but Wall Street Journal has a really good video on KZbin about it which shows for example how much thought is put into things like how a large audience all aiming for the same subway station after an event could be a problem, and how accounting for that is part of planning large events even though it's happening "outside" the event arena itself. Any situation with large crowds are dangerous and can even be lethal, as they historically often have been, even in very innocent situations where people aren't acting frantic - and because this has gone wrong so often, this is a KNOWN danger. With that in mind, it's crazy to think someone hadnt considered the potential dangers of that briefcase game - it's rushed, it's frantic, and it's center stage of the show. Injuries and potential trampling are not unexpected dangers, they're horribly predictable ones.

Absolutely adore her in this interview, she's compassionate and brilliant. It makes me livid that of all people, she ended up with a brain injury. It isn't okay for anyone to be hurt that way, ever. It's just like... 1) they KNEW how important her cognitive skills are, it was her angle on the show! and 2) if this was fiction it would almost come off as too heavy handed, it's too cruel. I truly hope Mama Bear gets to do all the hiking and lake swimming she wants for a very long time to come, and I hope she's able to return to her field if she wants. She worked so hard for her own personal fulfillment and my god, she did not deserve to have it taken away through recklessness. Ugh!!!

Thank you for saying right at the start that there is no excuse for the production! The film students in the comment section for Rosanna's video have been going crazy trying to correct people who are excusing things by saying "one person can't possibly keep track of so much" or "you should expect to get hurt." Absolutely not. For context, I was in film school for 2020 and when the Rust incident happened. Those were two of the most humbling experiences you could come up with to drive home the point that you are responsible for keeping your set safe. No one should risk life or limb for entertainment. We're not watching real gladiators fight anymore. They had every reason to keep it much safer than they did. If you can't handle being in the entertainment industry and doing things the right way, then you can learn or leave. Mr Beast as a person wasn't individually responsible for keeping tabs on everything, but as the owner of a production company and producer at the company, he is responsible for making sure Mr Beast the company is run in an ethical way. Hire union workers. Learn from professionals. And most importantly, don't cut corners to save some time.

That's why they're 🌟Ving contestants, letting them get injured with no help, messing their circadian rhythms up so much. Honestly, I put nothing past jimbob. Nothing. Honestly, hearing Amanda speak about how she can no longer do the things she once could hit me… really hard. I almost teared up with her. I have a lot of chronic issues that I am trying to figure out with my doctors, but my reality now is that I can’t do the same things (mentally or physically) that I could a few years ago. Every single contestant should have been cleared individually before they finished filming. Not only that but if she was TACKLED with no helmet, the medical team should have RAN to her and ended the shot. She should not have even gotten UP without the medical team being there. She should have then been taken by ambulance to the ER for a head CT. Like my god the incompetency!

I had a concussion and i COULDN'T stand for the first 2 days of it. This lady is built differently Also, can confirm about some things such as "not remembering concussion event happening" initially and even assuming everything is ok. When i got my concussion i initially didn't remember it at all and was confused "why did i immediately fall and vomit after getting up and why is the back of my head in such a piercing pain". Genuine confusion on what's the issue with my body here. I only remembered how it happened after that
