@@springreturning856 I don't doubt Alexa has stuff to work out from her past. At this point though, I do not think she was bullied by Jamie at all. Pure victimization of herself in order to deflect from the actual problems; the adults on set, and her own mother. I also think she sees herself as the character Nicole a little bit, emphasizing how good of person she is and how nice she is, even though she herself said people who say that are usually trying to convince others and themselves. I can see Jamie withdrawing too as the drama intensified. Which most likely upset Alexa even more. I'm not going to diagnose her with anything, and while Jamie Lynn has absolutely exploited her own sister's fame and wealth, I would be more likely to avoid Alexa in a room. She reminds me of someone with NPD traits, and she's more so thinking about her feelings and believes insisting on not having any flaws in this will somehow make her look better in the public eye. I hope Alexa can heal without lashing out at others immediately and refusing to take any blame for any of her current choices. She is an adult now, her and Jamie haven't spoken in years. When this story came out I was quite supportive of her, as it sounded like multiple accounts of harassment. Hearing Jamie's story, hearing Alexa *confirm* Jamie's story, only for her to listen to herself and still not see anything wrong with her own statements? I think she wanted a full on apology from Jamie, when she hasn't even bothered having an actual conversation with her to de-escalate things? Correct me if I'm wrong of course, I haven't been too caught up in every detail. But it just reminds me of when people immediately call introverts "bitchy". I think Quinton Reviews had the best take on the whole Alexa vs Jamie Lynn situation when he said, “I don’t fault teenage girls for acting like teenage girls. I do blame the adults who were on set that didn’t step in to sort the issues out.” I think it’s possible that Jamie Lynn and Alexis both did some really petty shit to one another that was probably fuelled by their mothers and a toxic set environment. I don’t think Alexa bringing up the toxic set environment is wrong either, however I do think she exaggerated how bad it was and downplayed her involvement in the drama. Alexa reminds me a bit of Johnny Sylvestry in the sense that she has some real issues with things that needed to be addressed but also wanted to be the centre of attention so badly that she co-opted other victims’ stories so she could make herself be the biggest victim. I think that’s also why the Quiet on Set people also cut out most of her interview and only kept the part about the sex joke.

It’s starting to look a lot like Alexa twisted normal girl fighting into a victim of bullying story. Of course Britney would confront someone bullying her sister. Jamie could be capitalizing on the backlash, of course. But I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Edit: as far as Britney apologizing, she’s been angry with Jamie Lynn after everything so it was probably easy to switch perspectives. Not to mention, maybe it was kind of inappropriate for an adult to confront a child instead of talking with her parents. Edit 2: don’t come for me but I find Sloan can be very biased when someone he knows is involved. Which is fine, who isn’t biased toward their friend.. but when you have a platform, maybe don’t cover your friends’ stories if you can’t be neutral and push them.

the truth of what happened between jamie lynn and alexa nikolas is unknowable to us and at this point doesn't really matter because they were both children. i went through similar experiences where i was VICIOUS towards people when i was around that age because they'd done something to me that i thought justified that behaviour, only to later find out how it affected them long-term. i also had to come to terms with how vicious other kids were to me and how that affected me long-term. it's just a reality of toxic middle school friendship groups and how extreme and mutually toxic they can get. i just find it so odd that alexa seems so focused on calling out these people who were CHILDREN for bullying her as a child when the focus should be on the adults who handled the situation completely inadequately and who, according to alexa, intimidated her and talked to her like no minors should be talked to. sure, i can talk about my experiences with being bullied (and also being a bully!) with the people closest to me, but i'm not going to put these people on blast on a public platform because they've likely grown as people and who they were as preteens doesn't reflect what they are today! this is also why it feels so icky to me that alexa is profiting off of 'sickelodeon' shirts when, in my opinion, her trauma doesn't justify that. like, girl, you were bullied as a pre-teen. i get it. me too. the adults around you didn't handle the situation appropriately, and that's not okay. but, and i don't mean to insinuate that her experience is invalid, there are literal cases of child sexual abuse and assault by people who worked at nickelodeon. yet the girl who got bullied is the one making 'sickelodeon' shirts? i genuinely don't know if this is just me being nasty, but she seems so stuck in this middle school mentality. she needs to heal. how the fuck are you still obsessed with exposing your middle school bullies? as a victim of grooming and domestic violence, alexa nikolas has so much that she could be raising awareness for. she understands things no one should have to understand, and she could be a great advocate for DV and grooming survivors. yet she's dying on this hill of not being able to distance herself from nickelodeon and, by extension, from drake bell. it's just so disappointing.

There’s something very obvious about someone who really wants their image to be tied to victimhood. I’ve felt awful feeling this way, but it was just so blatant to me.

tbh maybe Alexa didn't perceive it that way, but her and her mom were probably trying to secure her own show, which is why other people on the set saw them as "owning the set." maybe they didn't think it that way but that's probably what happened, based on my guess. many people were like that on nickelodeon sets, in order to get their big break. i'm sure egos were abound. many people have spoken about it as well how it's normal, and the funniest fact is, is that the parents were usually worst than the child actors. so based on jamie's version of events (coupled with how alexa and her mom are treating adam), this kinda tracks tbh

Sounds like teen Alexa was insecure about Jamie Lynn becoming closer to Kristina, and proceeded to take out that insecurity on Jamie Lynn. The fact she can't admit "Yeah I felt some type of way but at the end of the day we were literal children so it's whatever" and instead is going on this weird tirade over 20 year old beef is SO telling

"You're the biggest inspiration, always have been" ALWAYS HAVE BEEN? Alexa has HATED Brit for decades and cyberbullied her. As a MAJOR Britney mega-stan my entire life, I can't even put into words how heartwrenching it has been to witness Alexa manipulating Britney into apologizing and STILL goes around on podcasts discussing the incident, using the same exact words, even on fucking Megan Kelly but you know, like Alexa says, a good apology (even for completely exaggerated events) can compete with years of therapy!
@aSouthFloridianАй бұрын
You’re so right! I feel like the reason Alexa says a good apologies. Better better than years of therapy is largely because an apology validates your victim hood. It means you were right and they were wrong to a lot of people and there’s nothing Alexa wants more than to be queen victim, to have the most valid trauma. The way she was strangely jealous of Jeanette McCurdy’s book success. It’s also gross.

My sister and I grew up in the same house with the same parents and the same siblings. My sister and I have very different memories when it comes to certain things that happened. I have different emotions and feelings that can cloud my perception, but that's true for everyone. Memories are about perception, and if you view things a certain way, then it's true for you. I could shrug my shoulder because I was feeling cold, and you could see that and think that I was being rude to you. Now take how you'd feel about it as an adult and multiply the feeling by 50 because we're speaking about preteens/teens. It doesn't mean either girl is lying, necessarily.

Alexa's always bothered me with how she treats two 12 year olds not liking each other and fighting into something that was so... Obserdly awful. Like two kids fighting is awful, yes, it's going to have lasting damage. But they were 12. They were BOTH 12. Alexa talks about how "I was only twelve! I didn't even know how to gossip then!" You can still do things without knowing how to do them. And Jamie was 12 too, do you think she knew how to bully and manipulate the adults around her at that age? Or do you think that the two kids didn't like each other and the adults took the side of the kid that would help them keep their job? It's also why I think she's latching onto Drake Bell so much. He has something that people care about. A CSA story at Nick, while hers is just middle schooler drama. That seems like a stretch until you remember that Alexa still to this day, after receiving an apology and saying it's "water under the bridge", still goes after Brittney and tells the story of a pregnant Brittney yelling at her (in Brittney's persoective, she was protecting her little sister from her bully) This also is reflected in how she rarely ever talks about her abuser at 16 or her stalker (except when she can use them as a "gotcha") she only ever focuses on what happen at Nick because *that's* what want to hear about. Nick. How predatory Nick is, the damage Nick did. TLDR: BOTH Jamie and Alexa are at fault, but they both need to move tf on, they were 12!!!
