This rebuild has been spot on to watch and learn, just happens to be the exact engine I have so unbelievably helpful, only problem is you make me want to strip my engine right to the cast like this one and make it like new when in all fairness I don’t think I need to😂

hi adam, i know this is an old video but was wondering if there was any dowel pins installed on the waterpump cover? I am not talking about item 17 on your diagram. I have a cr 125 1996 and on my diagram it does not show any dowel pins apart from the same item 17 although two holes look slightly bigger for dowel pins.

Ive been using wiseco pistons (and I was told once you use them you cant use another) so will I have to waste the vertex piston that comes with the kit and get a seperate one?(on the full engine rebuild kit)

just be glad on your engine there wasnt any striped bolts i was helping my friend restore his bike and atleat 1/2 of the bolts were striped and i had to drill through them

Can i ask what carburetor you will be using? Standard mikuni or upgrade to a keihin? I have a 03 cr 125 with the keihin, just bought the bike and the jetting is off. Would like to know your input on jetting

I use plastic razor blades you can use metal. The reason I dont is because if you slip you risk damaging your sealing surface because the steel cuts into the alluminum
