Jesus Christ, I can't believe I didn't think of this. I've done this for walleye fishing and never considered adding to fly fishing. I have several flies that the hook is to hidden under material for great good hookup ratios; especially, against musky. This is going to be a game changer thank you so much.

Before the season starts I’d really like to see how you rigged that fly bucket! I’ve heard you talk about it and would love to make a couple for myself.

Such a great way to get a stinger hook added on! I’m going to have to try this technique for when I add a stinger to some flies!

Nice and easy for trolling flys! Will use this for land locks this coming spring! TYVM!

Yet again nice overthinking on things ;) I Love this. Basically you could do these before hand, just measuring the loop which goes to the hook and place it with the ”globeets”. Then you could have these done on different sizes according your like/used hook size and when you have lot on tail bites you could just add the tail hook. Ofcourse there might be situations when it could slip away from the hook, but still these might add the cought fishes because on the rear hook rigging. Just love your vids! Keep them coming!

Gunner would you ever just tie a knot in the tag of the bite wire after putting it through the crimp sleave and not crimping it. So you can remove the whole stinger rig if you choose. That is how i build stinger rigs for jigging the "D".

What do you think about the NiTi wire for stingers and articulated streamer junctions? Might be a little stiff for some applications, but it really keeps things in place nicely. Still messing with it, curious what else you've used it for other than the hinge of your weedless fly a while back.

Could you attach this rig to the rear shank of a mono rigged PR378 (like the bucktail deceiver you tied on a 6/0), or would you not rely on the mono to carry the hook load?

Would this work on a barbless hook or would it be too risky for the trailer slipping off with a fish on there? I would like to run this for chinook salmon, but we are limited to barbless. The fish are typically 10-17 lbs and the ratio lost is too high.

I couldn't see on the video but if you put the stinger on a barbless hook with the bead it seems like you could take the rig off if you don't need it. Is this the case? Keep the good stuff coming buddy.

Does anyone know if the crimp sleeves are single barrel or double barrel? Anybody have a link to these?
