Talks like these within the frum Jewish community are mamash saving lives . Baruch HaShem for the rabbis such as Rabbi YY who see the importance of discussing openly the field of addiction and can open the eyes of other addicts , as well as to family members and friends that addiction is just as prevalent in our community as anywhere else and that the answer is through working a 12 step program which specifically addresses the importance of recovery through finding and building a relationship with HaShem .
