I often times wonder about these so called rip off expensive restaurants n I've come up with my own conclusions. For those who can afford it, when you go to these places you're not paying for the food you know. I think you're paying the workers to go to the doctors for all those long painstakingly hours of standing on your feet petting n pampering n doing technical surgery on the food for you to eat🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 come on for goodness sake let's think about it what is soooooooo special that is being used on the goddamn food that a normal restaurant cannot do or our parents or grandparents cannot do???🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 trust me it really baffles me!!! How can someone pay thousands of dollars for a plate of almost nothing in it???🙄🙄🙄

For regular steak, I can see people getting medium-well, but for Japanese wagyu, I highly recommend medium-rare, since these meats are amazing even when consumed raw.
@Maxime-ho9iv3 жыл бұрын
This is the reverse. You should eat regular steak rare because you want the interior to be almost raw. You want to eat wagyu medium or medium well because it allows the fat to melt.

Is there some sort of display behind that grill that tells them where the heat zones are? Always wondered.
@bencrawshaw12274 жыл бұрын
I think the heat source in a tappen is from the centre outwards. Don't quote me on that.
@natsuuzumaki27734 жыл бұрын
It's basically a gas grill. So on the chef's side there's knobs to ignite and manage the flame under the flat top and the flame is lined up with the knob. So the farther you are from that spot, the cooler the surface. At about 20:00 in the background to the right of the chef, you can see a couple of the knobs
@mooseknucklegarage84394 жыл бұрын
There’s many burners on flat top grills like that with a knob for each burner so you can control the heat on the entire surface
