Hi Wesley , the check 18 you was talking about in this video relates to an incorrect start up procedure with the control box usually because it has had the power cut to the monitor (ie turns off with the ignition ?). If you let the Baler start the control box when the PTO is started that normally cures it , but nothing to worry about anyway. Gary , Big Bale Services Ltd , UK

I don't have a problem with a farmer getting some freebies... Wes did too years ago. Any day a farmer can get a freebie is a good day. It's just they need to be up front about it and HONEST about it... too many companies give you sh!t but expect you to fawn all over about how wonderful it is even if it's complete SH!T. AND, unfortunately, there's more than enough farmers that are MORE THAN WILLING to "sell out" and fawn and crawl and sing the advertiser's tune in order to keep getting free sh!t... When they start off with "this episode brought to you by..." I sorta wrinkle my nose and expect a stinker... HFW is basically got his toes on the line if not entirely over IMHO but yeah some channels like Welker or Millennial I've watched a video or two here and there, didn't like what I saw, and moved on. I've noticed certain personality types over the years... I'm into model rocketry which is the small flying hobby rockets (Estes rockets basically but buy mostly other manufacturers or build my own). MOST guys in hobby rocketry nowadays are into the high power rockets, the kind they launch out in the desert that are REALLY big and use motors that cost anywhere from under $100 bucks to several thousand bucks PER FLIGHT. Now, some of that stuff is neat the see and cool and all, not my bag have no interest in doing it myself, and if someone else does, more power to them I don't care... I'll watch and ohh and ahh and call it good. BUT, some of these guys go WAY out of the their way to show off and will really make sure you know HOW MUCH they spent on this or that or how much their fancy electronics cost or how much they spent on motors last year or how many newton-seconds of motors they burned last year or whatever... Then when you don't fawn on them for KNOWING HOW TO SPEND MONEY they get all p!ssy about it... Most of them are just doing a bigger version of the "whoosh-pop" of model rockets that cost a couple bucks per flight, but they're spending 20-500 times as much, the only difference being they're doing "bigger"... Sorry but that doesn't impress me... I've seen guys doing stuff with MINI MOTORS and regular plain jane old model rocket motors that is HIGHLY technical and scientific or cutting edge of what's possible with rockets that size, or technology available. THAT is impressive to me. Same thing with guys who try to impress you with the biggest/fastest/mostest *anything* basically... guys with the "baddest" diesel pickup or most tricked out car or the gal with the biggest SUV or fanciest horse trailer or whatever... I see a LOT of that attitude when it comes to some of these farming channels where they just constantly have to throw out how their equipment is the biggest or newest or best or most expensive-- Sorry but that just doesn't impress me... ANYBODY can whip out a checkbook or sign off on a whopping loan and buy some fancy-dancy stuff... I prefer watching guys that can actually fix stuff and improve stuff and really do some big jobs with SMARTS and hard work not just "who's got the fattest checkbook". Later! OL J R :)

Even the later built Hesstons throw stalks up through the knotters. It's a pain in the ass. Particularly crops with thick stalks. I had trouble with millet stalks being thrown up and stuck between the billhook roller and the knotter arm. It'd stop the string from sliding off the billhook and cause trouble, if you didn't catch it in time.
