❤️ Thank you Lord for this message. Help me to Hallow your name, to see you as both a personable father who forgives but also as creator and authority over everything. Hallowed be your name in my life, my relationships, my work, the lives of my friends and in my country.

Tim Keller you explained this in simple yet profound manner. All our failures are failures of adoration.

Amen. What adore we treasure. Lay up your treasure in heaven. Then Jesus Christ is your treasure. Heaven is your home. Grace is your supply. And is more than enough to get you home. Paid in full by Jesus Christ.

Issaih Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? Watch ye and pray lest ye enter into temptation. The Spirit is truly ready but the flesh is weak

""His fatherness makes his heavenliness non intimidating but His Heavenliness makes His Fatherness not just comforting but absolutely liberating''. The beauty of Adoration is we put Our Father First, and enables us to see who we are and then be able to accept it". This is so true. I know it as I've experienced it . Thanks and Adoration.

I pray that God could help me to see what I hallow as easily as I can see in your stories what the subject person is hallowing

I might have missed Tim referencing the fact that "hallowed be Thy name" is in the emphatic. i.e. MAKE Thy name hallowed. And that He will do when the Kingdom comes.

Like one young mormon just said; "Sometimes I wonder if the TRUTH I am spreading is not true, have done all my work for nothing?" I don't think she did. She just annoyed hundreds of non-believers for nothing.

Prayer has been undermined or wrongfully used by many people in our society. Some people conduct prayer only in times they perceive need and/or have overwhelming desires. Prayer can become a form of idolatry where one is worshipping something else other than God and going the very exact opposite way! Many people in our postmodern culture conduct prayer in ways which center around their personal experiences which is more like a new age experience rather than Christianity. For these people, prayer is usually portrayed as some sort of self affirming experience and/or time to meditate with goal of "self justification" on some decision at hand. The effects of witnessing such has either made people pray completely with a wrong perspective or totally dismiss prayer as necessity. Prayer can also be used hypocritically or for self serving reasons within group settings, something I admittedly have been guilty at different times in my life although rarely. I got caught up in praying with people emphasizing more of my relationship with them rather than God or sometimes in Bible study groups as a way to introduce myself to people when I first came. These are a small number of examples in how prayer can be misused. All of these ways we misuse prayer or throw it aside with such having huge consequences in our Faith life. Jesus makes it clear prayer is necessary for our growth and serves as a symbol of communication with God. Prayer is a key way of praising and showing adoration for God. It's a way of affirming and acknowledging how great our Lord is. Believers need to conduct prayer realizing how God is sovereign over prayers; and with patience and Faith that all commands by God are there for reasons He has. Jesus has ultimate plans to work all things for the good of those who believe in Him. From my experience, prayer is sometimes about acknowledging such along with how His plans for us are uncomprehendable! It's difficult to comprehend such but that shows how His plans are beyond even my comprehension along with providing me an opportunity to quietly meditate & focus on Him. God's plans are far too grand and beyond comprehension for us. Jesus asks us to center Him in our prayer, explains how prayer was designed to praise God, and even shows us perfect examples of prayer throughout the Bible!

The story Tim told with the man who couldn’t forgive himself for having an affair with He also didn’t know the word that says 27 “You have heard that it was said [a]to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matt 5:27-28 Matthew 5:27
