How do you Frenzel Equalise? Frenzel Equalising is one of the turning points for many spearos and freedivers, once you learn this method you'll feel much more comfortable diving deeper depths. With some helpful tips from Adreno Brisbane's Wayne Judge you'll be doing the Frenzel in no time.

I've been using both now I know which one is which... I wish I was more proficient on this as I tried to get a nice shot at Barracuda Lake in Palawan but I failed to equalize my ears and prevented me from going deeper... Thank you for this video...

So helpful thank you, I've been freediving 10-15m but always using the diaphragm, I would lose a bit of air each time I did it and that isn't sustainable to lose a load of air every time you equalise. Cheers

Just think of times you use the glottis and soft pallet without knowing it. Example would be when you hiccup or cough. For the soft pallet would be when you snore.

Your glottis closes every time you drink liquid or swallow food, as that's how you prevent things "going down the wrong pipe."
