One of the great new features in DaVinci Resolve 14 Studio is the Match Move effect and today Theo puts it to use for a great sky replacement effect!

This tutorial just saved my butt! I learned not only the basics of this new plugin, but how to apply it to a sky replacement. Awesome! But I still had an issue due to a long pan in which no single point stayed in the frame for the duration of the shot. After digging further into the plugin, though, I figured it out and got my shot to work flawlessly. Hint, the Clear Past and Clear Future buttons are your friends for a long pan shot.

Really great tutorial. Seems like one of the big limitations of drone shots is dynamic range (unless you are flying a very expensive drone). I would love to see a video where you make cheap drone footage look expensive. Maybe adding sky replacement, lens flares, etc.. seems like it would be a cool challenge to try and take footage out of a drone like the mavic pro and make it look like an expensive shot. Thanks, and keep up the awesome tutorials!! They have been incredibly useful to me!

Epic! And I saw that you have Rec709 LuTs. As i don't shoot flat I could make use of those. Will have a look into them. 🙏

You created a Note, then you connected it, then you we like, take the connection to another note, then you took that connection to another note, then you we like " this connection, there and then there", then you took that connection to another note, then you took it to original note and lastly You Tube viewers were like "Aaaahhh" with big eyes while others were like you are Gandalf, others said God of DaVinci but conclusion was big "Confusion" , and then you laughed:)

I think it's somewhat funny that people are commenting on how fast he talks, and I actually tend to watch these videos at 1.5 or 2x speed. If it's too slow or too fast for ya, KZbin's got your back.

Great tutorial! Awesome way for skyreplacement. But I have a question on creating the key. I sometimes use the qualifier in combination with a powerwindow. But I can't seem to get it to work in this workflow. When I use a powerwindow in the node where you do the key. It doesn't work, even when I invert it. Thanks!

Another brilliant tutorial :) Quick question which I can't seem to get an answer.... Can I download and use DR 14 studio beta version (without watermarks) without owning the 12.5 studio version? I currently use 12.5 (non studio) but I want to buy the 14 studio when it is released.
