2.6% of Americans are a normal weight because they eat healthfully. Hilarious. I wouldn't have thought it was that many. I seriously doubt. There's more than 1 other person in the nearest 100 people around me that eat as healthfully as I do, although I know there must be some I would've thought maybe 2 in a thousand. Maybe 5 in a thousand. Not 16. I'm fairly muscular, not sure if merit the 24 versus 23 standard. But I appreciate the possiblility. I'm working very hard to try to follow a nutritarian diet and not overeat. I spent about 10 years just eating whole plant foods which included occassionaly eating pecans and dates as a main dish. But now I'm trying to take it to the next level Have better health right now - like no asthma like symptoms - and make my joints feel really good so I can enjoy running. And then just fucking live to be 100 and enjoy my life. Work in permaculture as a hobby. I love Fuhrman's videos I literally get excited, oh good this one's 2 hours long! I might go work on some other things, I will watch it all soon if not in one sitting.

The sodium fluoride and hydrofluosilicic acid may have something to do with how most Americans feel. The Harvard School of Public Health stated that sodium fluoride lowers children's IQ, and that the toxin is accumulative The Harvard School of Medicine, The Lancet Neurology, and Dartmouth University all state that sodium fluoride and hydrofluosilicic acid are known neurotoxins. Those neurotoxins literally cause brain damage: the frontal lobe is effected - emotional regulation, short- and long-term memory, sense of self, decision making, cellular damage, etc.

You can't just look at the glycemic index of a food you have to factor in the combination of the foods you were eating at one time, as this is what ultimately will show the true glycemic effect of a meal which is generally a combination of foods.

I had been mostly vegan for about 5 years prior, but had not paid enough attention to the quality of my diet as much. His books and videos really helped me grasp the patterns necessary for optimal health. Eat To Live is his first book. I understand Food For Life is more detailed. His other books seem to focus on specific chronic illnesses. Hope that helps. His genius is being able to articulate how this lifestyle change is important and advising us to eat foods that have been shown in studies to fight disease. He has changed my life.

@@lauriem184 from all the researched info that I have seen most Dr's are suggesting that almost all diets are low in DHA, most people don't convert ALA to DHA efficiently and thus need supplements, I believe green algae is supposed to be the best source.
@themotivator2587
@themotivator2587 2 жыл бұрын
First of all, he recommended that some people may need to take supplemental EPA and DHA. DHEA is something completely different. Some people may be able to get enough from nuts and seeds by converting ALA. Other people have insufficient conversion enzymes and should either eat some fish or take a supplement. This isn't about a deficiency in the diet, per se. It's about properly addressing the nutritional needs of individuals in the way that is best for them. But an algae supplement is probably the cleanest. The waters are so polluted that fish can have toxins.

This helped my daughter with breast cancer as she refused chemo and radiation and only focused on the stem cells [apoptosis] www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4519921/ A friend also bought her this book "Mitochondria as Targets for Phytochemicals in Cancer Prevention and Therapy" The book can be found at www.springer.com and at AbeBooks.com etc. Basically, since cancer stem cells are resistant to chemo and ionizing radiation, she made a decision to focus on what does target [apoptosis] cancer stem cells - phytochemicals dash.harvard.edu/handle/1/10474253 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27609747

@@Davidb600 I'm not sure that you even understood the question. Are you claiming that kale has none of these substances? Or that a kilo of liver has more of these substances than a kilo of kale? You seem confused. Maybe try to use Mr Google again, this time attempting to think things through more methodically.

@@Davidb600 So you aren't able to answer the question. But yes, there are lots of anti-nutrients in liver: it has too much copper, far too much animal protein and far too much vitamin A. The livers of some animals are extremely toxic.

Bob stiler,. Neil Barnard MD wrote a book dangers of dairy. we all need to avoid wheat, dairy, and prepackaged prefabricated boxed foods. intermittent fasting. and of course avoid sugar and toxic sugar substitutes and their chemicals. Viola....we would all lose weight. so basically avoid the SAD diet. the standard American diet. shop the perimeters of the grocery store for live fruits and glorious healthy veggies. and of course olive oil, coconut oil, walnut oil, macadamia nut oil, and avocado oil. food , real glorious food. IMAGINE THAT. Jean.

Fuhrman looks emaciated, like most vegetarians. I’d rather look muscular and fit and live a few less years…eat meat.
