Oh yes, no doubt. I live near the Conowingo Hydro Dam, the largest dam east of the Mississippi. When it was created the original town of Conowingo was flooded and still remains, partly of course, under the water in the Conowingo Reservoir. The reservoir is large, and there’s no doubt in my mind that there are a few bodies in those waters. It’s a logical place for a murderer to dispose of a human body; it’s difficult to get to so there’s no a lot of people that go back there. On the plus side, and significantly less creepy side, the fishing in the Conowingo Reservoir is pretty sweet. There’s a ton of bluegills and some ridiculously large channel cats, along with some nice bass in the pond that it attached to the reservoir. There’s a tunnel under the train tracks that you can use to take your bass boat into the pond and the bluegill hide from the bass under that tunnel. You will get at least a good bite every single time you drop a nightcrawler in there.

I’ve thought about that too there’s so many bodies of water here in the part of Kentucky that I live in and I feel sure that there’s most likely human remains in a lot of them. I remember when we had a flood a few years ago and a lady was going to work at a hospital in the next county over and she didn’t know that the highway had been flooded and washed away so needless to say she was swept away by all of the water and they couldn’t find her body so about a month later they found her in Green river miles and miles away from here . It was just so sad she had to be horrified by what was happening to her it still bothers me to even think about it bless her heart .

Wow. You brought another one home. Amazing. You guys are beyond amazing. I brought a bunch of your window breakers for Christmas to give to family and friends. It’s a small gift, but a gift that could make a difference in a life and death situation. God bless you guys.

I truly admire what you guys are doing. It’s a brave and noble job. Thank you! There is a case in Oklahoma that has always haunted me. The Lauria Bible & Ashley Freeman case which occurred in 1999. Law enforcement at that time really botched things being a small, rural town & some bad blood with the Freeman family. It’s a long, complicated story. The current sheriffs department has made an arrest but still want to locate Lauria & Ashley. The families are still desperately wanting to bring the girls home. Multiple ponds and other bodies of water have been searched in Pitcher, OK but after seeing on your channel, I am amazed that this doesn’t always mean much. It would mean so much to finally have these beautiful girls home again. Please take a look and consider helping. Thank you.

Jared always say’s to contact him on the email address. I’m thinking it would be so much harder without a vehicle & just bodies. I mean you could imagine (without being too detailed) that finding a body in a large body of water after 20+ years would be dam near impossible. If you knew exactly what water & that they were definitely in there, that would make it a bit more possible. It’s so hard isn’t it. My heart breaks for these girls & their families🥲🥲❤️❤️

Casou de crime tinha cherif pedir procurador uma licença para eles podem fazer alguma coisa para encontrar mas o sonar só deteta metal não cadáveres depois 20 anos e muito tempo já está coberto corpo de lama no fundo de um rio

I’m sure that this has been asked, speculated upon, and answered but every time I watch one of these I just think “where were the authorities?” I know , I understand not enough resources but it’s heartbreaking for the family to not have answers. Thank you for what you guys do.

How has Discovery or History not picked up this show. It beats all of their current programs.

@@wendyc1902 True. I can just imagine the fake scripted scenario that doesn't fool anyone. That being said, the Curse of Oak Island team has stretched nothing over 143 episodes. They can probably make a lifetime of shows off of this AWP clip alone.

I would ask those gated communities if they had any issues seeing tracks into the lake area 3 years ago. They may believe someone backed in a boat without their knowledge but in reality someone could have driven in while the owners think something different.

You guys are great! It's not just the incredible, physical efforts and razor sharp logical thinking attached to the work you're doing; it's the way you talk to the relatives. You put their needs and feelings above your own and the other people attached to each case. True altruistism is rare! You guys are joy to be around (you have that rare, on screen charisma that makes the viewer feel like an active part of the adventures. I love sitting here in the warmth watching you change lives. Thanks! Hopefully you keep safe and carry on for the benefit of everyone! Sending Love from England
