Have you heard of FOGO? The fear of getting older? Well fear not! In this video I’m going to show you that there’s proof that we get happier as we age. Sound crazy? Maybe, but it’s true, we get happier as we get older. I’m going to explain it all with lots of fun and examples and show you that the best is yet to come!
If life and aging is getting you down, you need to see this video!
I started my KZbin channel at 60, tell me, in the comments, what you’re going to try!
Thanks so much for watching,
Nancy

For me (age 58), my serenity level has gone way up since turning 50, even though I don't have my life as 'together' as I'd like at this age. I've grown up emotionally and spiritually, risen to a higher level by realizing what priorities truly matter, and I've ceased comparison-tripping completely - to others as well as to myself. That alone can raise our happiness level significantly.

I am never afraid to say my age. No fear of aging at all. Aging is a privilege. With breast cancer and being 48, everyday and birthday is a gift. Getting older is a blessing. Thank you for the video Nancy. On a side note or question. I can hardly move on my upper left side. Do you have any tips exercising with some type of physical disability or limits? Thanks!

I'll be 61 on Saturday. I have never been afraid to tell people my age. Turning 35 was my hardest year. A person never knows when the timer will ding, so I get out there and have fun. Love your videos!

This is so interesting 🤔 You know, I've never really thought this much about this. Who knew there was actually this connection with age/happiness. I feel that even tho I'm only 38, I can relate to the older generation. Thank you so much for this video. I'm sure you have given a lot of us something to really think about more. I absolutely agree with that quote at the end. I had no idea about Morgan freeman so learned that today. Wow. It's kinda making me now look forward to being older because I've always had this 'I'm too old for that now' mentality but hearing about all those people is eye opening and inspiring. THANK YOU! ❤❤

My dad is 65 and my mom is 58 The are both obese and don’t have any friends All they think about is food Both of them complain about their body hurting and that they are old I tell them it’s their choices that make their body hurt I remind my mom of our family friend who is 66 and does HIIT and Tough Mudder race Age is just a number but your choices can affect you positively or negatively

They are lucky to have you Jaycee, don’t give up on them. Maybe if you could encourage one or both to walk with you, show them some inspirational videos of others in their situation who have turned things around. Maybe they’re afraid to start, it seems so overwhelming. Most of all, keep yourself healthy and active. Sometimes our parents set the example for us but maybe you can do it for them. Best to you ❤️
