Really? The sire of hundreds of bastards who then took joy in making the children fight in a cruel cockfighting cabal which was the epitome of barbarism? Who stole his crown from his own flesh and blood and has proven foolish, feckless, and a friend only to his enemies? Is he compelling at times? Yes. Aemond is the MVP, because he is truly and tremendously intelligent though to say he is immune to terrible mistakes or he is somehow pure and virtuous is a stretch.

@@sagesigman8269 In the show he didn't want to steal the crown but was lied to and forced on the throne. In the books Aegon is a true bastard but in the show he is actually a likable person, in the show its Aemond who started the war by killing Luke, its Aemond's fault Jaehaerys was murdered and its Aemond's fault Aegon and Sunfyre fell, he could have attacked Meleys in any other way then by burning one of their 4 dragons and his king.

The greens are so damn compelling imo. King Viserys may have been my favorite in Season 1, but Aegon steals it for me in Season 2, and Aemond is great in both lol Amazing edit!
