OMG.. Dee's face at 1:09 when she first sees a shirtless Joe Perry!!! Bahahaha!! Seriously, it's so heartwarming to see the younger generation discover the music I grew up with. Future Aerosmith reaction suggestion for you guys.. "Train Kept a Rollin'", but Chod will tell you about the entire "Rocks" album & "Toys in the Attic" album. Both will knock your socks off, Dee!!

Aerosmith story: My first concert, 1977. I was 14, and my best friend and I were dropped off by my mom at the Houston Summit. Nazareth, Angel, and Aerosmith on the bill. Frankly, Aerosmith was the worst band on the bill. They were trashed, and couldn't keep it together. I actually thought they were a garage band put into the show before Aerosmith. Eventually, they found some sort of snap and did a few songs I recognized as the band I had paid to see. At one point, Steven Tyler threw a harmonica out in to the crowd, and it landed at my feet. I quietly picked it up and stuffed it into my shirt. I was 14, not stupid to the notion that somebody might beat me up for the harmonica. Yes, I still have it.

I saw Aerosmith in 1973 for the first time and I had never heard of them. They were the opening for a concert with Mott The Hoople and Robin Trower. By the end of their set I was a huge fan and saw them 15 times. Twice in 3 days. "Dream On" is an awesome song. Great to watch both of you. Do "Amazing" or "No More No More".

Yet another band that was a joy to see live. I feel so lucky that hundreds of hours of my life were spent watching great bands in concert. I think that's what I've learned by watching Reactors. I learned to feel even more grateful for getting to see so much of the future's Mozart's and Beethoven's. And those musicians had so much respect for their bandmates and fellow groups. Even here, you see that Tyler ducks out of sight for the finer guitar bits, so as not to steal their spotlight. He did that every show I ever saw. Jagger and Plant generally did likewise.

I had the pleasure of seeing Aerosmith live some time around 1986. Loudest rock concert I'd ever been to. I had to stuff toilet paper in my ears to reduce the pain from the sound. But they put on a great show. Next up for Dee probably ought to be "Walk This Way" (First the original Aerosmith version followed by the collaboration with Run DMC).

I'm fairly certain that this was Woodstock '94 at about 3am. I was there but unfortunately we were at the south stage. So I missed this performance. There were 4 of us that went so we took turns choosing. It was either give up Nine Inch Nails or Aerosmith. I had to go with NIN!

As someone else pointed out, this is from their very first album and from my point of view, there is not a bad song on this album although this one was a huge hit and it's a beautiful song. But I also love Mama Ken and I also love walking the dog, which is an old Rufus Thomas cover. It would be awesome to see reaction where someone played the Aerosmith version of walk the dog and then back-to-back played the Rufus Thomas version which is actually quite short. It would be a bit of a history lesson but it's a fascinating comparison.

I liked Aerosmith's albums. But the 1st time I saw them in concert THEY SUCKED! It was the height of their drug days. I swore that I'd never see them again. But I relented and saw them during their "Get a Grip" tour in '93. They were sober enough to put on a great show and they redeemed themselves.

@craigperkins24362 жыл бұрын
Disagree. Their later stuff is way “harder” than their early stuff. I love it all but the common thought is they went soft. They went commercial and released all their ballads, no doubt, but if you listened to rest of those albums they are mostly hard rock songs. My favorite album of theirs is nine lives because it rocks harder than anything they’ve ever put out.

you guys have a good channel going, you will be doubling subscribers within months but one suggestion, wilburn is that your name? if your gonna watch music you already heard, don't ruin it for your wife, in all the songs you do that, your talking too much during the songs, let her get into it for the first time like you did, either stop the music and speak or let it play and talk at the end, just friendly advice, other than that you guys are great

I'm glad Dee gave them an 8. I would have given maybe 6-7. I know, thousands on your channel will disagree, but Steven Tylers screeching stands my hair on end.
