Nice review, already follow the accounts as well. I’ve got the natural chamois from Truman, really nice boots although being extremely light they do show off water spots pretty easily when it rains.

Most of my boots are smooth leather. Problem i have with rough out, waxed flesh and suede is not sure how to care for them. There any definitive guide out there that talks about how to care for waxed flesh and rough out?

here's my advice for how to care for chamois leather: don't do it! hahaha it's so durable and so heavily treated, you shouldn't need to do a thing for many many years aside from brush them off

Hey Dale. Do you think it’s possible to burnish the toes and heel of those boots? I’m not crazy about the fuzzy aspect of them. If so how would u do it? Thx I’m asking because I have a chance to get a pair of them.

They are out now. This time they used tan stitching to add a little bit of contrast.......and mounted them on ridgeway soles. I ordered mine yesterday. Good thing too because my size shows it's already sold out.

Maybe I didn’t pay attention enough. Are these direct from Truman? I don’t see them on the website anymore. Too bad. Probably among the best looking black boots I’ve seen. Wanted to see if I could grab a pair. Edit: never mind. Got further into the video and you mentioned they are sold out. Maybe they’ll do something similar eventually.

Can I wipe them down with a damp rag to clean them?

You can!! Or my favorite: run them under gentle tap water and let them dry. A rag could embed the debris into the leather grain more
