Thanks for the video! Is there any chance of seasickness do you think? I’m thinking of doing this journey in late August but get a bit nervous on boats!

I don't think it will be an issue, though anything is possible. For much of the trip you are shielded by islands, and there's only a few "open" stretches. Even then, the back deck is open, just look out at the horizon, and you should be fine.

Great Video, thanks a lot. Planning to take that route in opposite direction this summer and just want to ask, if passengers are allowed to stay outside all the time? LG from Germany

Yes, the top level has both an open air section as well as covered and it's fine to be outside the whole time. That's unlike some of the faster boats, such as the Seajets Wordchampion or Power jets in Greece.

@@Travelog Yes I know. It's also the case at the PT-Line ferry wich leaves Split at 09:15h. So I rather get up early and take the Krilo-Boat at 07:40h but can enjoy some fresh air. Thanks again, that was very helpful.

I'm going to both cities this August. Do you think this is better than taking the bus from Dubrovnik to Split? thanks
@Travelog2 жыл бұрын
It’s really a toss up/depends on your preference. I’ve only taken the boat. The bus on paper can be a bit shorter, but can run into traffic. I also like the ability of walking around and going outside. But both work!

Do they give you time to walk around the port at each stop, or are the stops only meant to pick up and unload passengers?
@Travelog2 жыл бұрын
No, they are quick stops. But nothing prevents you from getting off for a few hours then taking the next boat.

Can you use the same ticket from Dubrovnik and split on differential days, if you hope off and stay overnight in each place along the way ..many thanks great video..
@Travelog8 ай бұрын
No, you’ll need a separate ticket, it’s not “hop on, hop off.” But the tickets are inexpensive enough.
