In this episode of Africa Reacts (brought to you by Historical Africa), we will be reacting to 2 Kenyan School Dropouts Who Worlds First Bio-robotic Arm Operated By Brain Signals.
David Gathu and Moses Kinyua, both hailing from Kenya, have always been passionate about technology and its potential to
change lives. They embarked on a mission to make a lasting impact on the field of medicine by developing a revolutionary prosthetic
limb. After years of research and dedication, their hard work culminated in the creation of the world's first bio-robotic arm.
So, what makes this bio-robotic arm so special? Unlike traditional prosthetics, Gathu and Kinyua's creation is operated by brain
signals, making it incredibly responsive and intuitive for the user. The arm is equipped with advanced sensors that pick up signals
from the user's brain, translating them into precise movements.
The bio-robotic arm is fitted with cutting-edge technology, including a sophisticated neural interface that connects directly to the user's
brain. This interface decodes the neural signals, allowing the individual to control the robotic arm with remarkable accuracy. The
device is not only capable of replicating natural limb movements but can also adapt to various tasks, from delicate actions to more
robust activities.

@@elasticmachinery My fav is the channel dud in the bubble pointing his fingers as the sub part mockup and the 1980's computer game on a loop on the screen. Look at the 'cutting edge electronics! Everything is soldered together like a champ. He even soldered in some small electric motors and AA batteries on to the cutting edge 'circuit board'. Last time something that looking that bad was cutting edge was around the time of the space race... Look around the room. Those boys printed out everything they could. Nasa symbols, Einstein, he even has a high tech biohazard symbol on his jacket. This video is 100% proof of why people get taken to the cleaners by Nigerian call centers. This video is like an IQ test. lol...

I used to work as a set and prop builder in a theatre/marionette company and so I really appreciate the super cool piece of theatre these guys have created, it's awesome... the whole plywood, hi-tech aesthetic, the flickering screens and retro sound effects... it's high art, brilliant work! I also love the way it's presented straight, like it's real. This is a great piece of theatre and I hope they get some bookings, there are puppetry festivals in Europe I performed at that would definitely buy this show.

I am so proud of my brothers in Kenya and Africa. Keep your technological achievements in Africa. If any outsider wants a unit, make them pay you to develop it further but keep your specs and rights /patents etc, so you are the sole supplier and owner of this tech. If anyone forms a contract with you, ALWAYS ALWAYS read the small print. More importantly, and ESPECIALLY in an outsiders contract and NEVER EVER sell your patents or rights. God Bless you all. You know, interestingly, i just saw the movie Hidden Figures, about the black American women mathematicians whose work was instrumental for the first spaceflight. I kept thinking, are the whites simply hating on these women for being black? By the end of it, i was convinced it was more the power those black people possessed that scared the daylights out of their white colleagues. They don't want a black person to be equal or better than them in anything. They, thus, rig the game and then say black people don't have the aptitude for it, like someone put it. Even these kenyan brothers, when white folks come on here, they'll do anything to poor cold water on the efforts of these brothers. They hate to see or hear of a smart black person. It negates their "one brush" narrative of blacks being stupid. Sadly, a lot of our people have internalised this 'less than' narrative and have bottled their potential.

They're better off selling these ideas and moving on. There will be many huge corps around the world that will do anything to delete their work and stop them from ever imposing again. I also have a feeling that a lot of African officials don't want too many of their citizens becoming multimillionaires, too.
