Why would you take a child on a diplomatic mission and then allow her to wander freely on an alien world whose laws and customs she could never fathom or comprehend? In real life, no diplomat takes their child on such a mission, especially with an unknown host or unfriendly country.

Sometimes it takes an idealistic view, however unlikely, to move us forward. I am a dreamer, one who would look upon this story, and many others like it, as a chance, firstly for us on this planet, to unify as human beings, then with anyone and everyone who may be out there.
