He actually is. I will always cheer against him because hes way too OP and I like an underdog, but Magnus is incredibly humble and it shines through. I remember seeing he got beat on a stream by an 1800 and with no shame, animosity, accusations of cheating or anything. He just congratulated the player and said he had a bright future. Eric Rosen has a super humble channel also, he almost cried and said he was quitting for a year when got beat by a 1600 XD

It's been a great tournament so far with many highlights - but one of the best things about it is seeing Alireza play, he's been ultra focused in all of his games and it looks like his confidence is back after several bad tournaments. He was looking at the screen with razor-sharp focus during this whole game. It's interesting to see you show the Nd6 line after Alireza delivers the first queen check because that's what we were discussing in chat during the game streaming and it seemed winning for Black - but we didn't have time to fully play it out as Magnus then sealed the deal.

I once analyzed this line of the Scandinavian and that queenside castling idea is the best move recommended by the engine in that position, stocmfish gives +0.4 recommending White to take the pawn on f2 resulting in a position where White is up two pawns but Black has an immense lead in development which Stockfish is able to defend and end up with a better position for White through some absurd engine line.
