Tal was an over rated piece of crap as Botvinik proved in the world chess championship … Also Tigran Petrosian has a 5-0 classical score against Tal 😂😂😂 …. Also Anand beat Tal in the only single classical match they played … in summary Tal was mediocre 😂😂😂😂

डफ़कtal may not be the greatest world champion ever but the way your spitting facts seem like tal never won against petrosian. Tal defeated him many times dude and for anand he played him when he was already too sick. You cannot just tell one side of the story and end with an insult to one of the greatest chess players.

Paul Keres played his last tournament, in Vancouver, Canada, in 1975. Sadly, on his way back to Tallinn, he passed away. Ever since then, the Paul Keres Memorial tournament has been held in Vancouver to mark his legacy, with the 48th edition being played this year. There are usually several GMs in attendance, and a high number of Estonian players as well.

Keres was my favorite player when I was learning. Fischer was special. Later on, Karpov & Kasparov, legendary. Spassky's games were powerful, and indeed, I believe he developed a universal style that was closest to Keres'. Studying the early games of Paul Keres taught me many tactical elements, and his later games were often strategic masterpieces. It's too bad the Soviets never let him ascend the throne.

I NEED AN ANSWER -- Totally unrelated to this game. My question; Would a typical grandmaster prefer to win a game (during mid or end game scenarios), with a tactic of mate in two, or mate in three, if the mate in three included a beautiful queen sacrifice? We all know that masters hate to be seen as barbaric, and often consider their games as things of beauty. Then again, they also love winning with the least amount of moves. What does the chess world think?
