He would not have convinced her father that she should come to Graceland and stay with his parents…, I think he was torn between the the adoration of starlets and fans since he was a normal, but lonely man.. I think he had issues like anyone who comes from a poor and hard childhood.. ultimately he made the decisions and she allowed that till she needed something else.. it must have been difficult !!! I love Elvis and always have.. but he was a man who loved adoration and attention.. He really had a deep love for God and worship music , but his flesh was in control!! He later obviously according to Ann Margret’s book, paid a big price for that quick promise made when he was young. Her father eventually called in that promise when she hit 21 and had shacked up with him for so long. He had no choice or career would have been over.

Priscilla is so beautiful and such a class act. Her stories are so mesmerizing to listen to because of the way she presents herself / such a "lady" (which is a rarity nowadays - and obviously a very strong "lady" as well as these two qualities in a woman certainly do complement each other.
