I used to be a metalhead, but as I grew older, my taste in music changed. I still listen to my old favorites now and then, but it just doesn't move me like it used to. Now I listen to many different genres. About the only ones I can't stand are modern country music and most modern hip hop. Auto-tune is an abomination unto the lard!

This reminds of the story in which a bunch of different Xenos and one human are trapped on a space station, and the local star is about to go nova. The human is a travelling musician, just wandering, and happened to get stuck on this station at the wrong moment in time. Being a musician, he decides to give his Swan Song farewell to the Xenos. The aliens in that story like the music a lot better, but the ending is still not good, as the star goes nova anyway, as it cares not what music is played in the final moments of some scared sentients.
