Congrats on 40k! Seems you hit the milestone after posting this video. I started watching your Japan videos, from before you lived there for a year, I'd have to go back and check to see which one it was exactly, but I've stuck around because I just really love your personality and what you film! Here's to 50k soon~ Also, I'm looking up flights for Adelaide haha, maybe I won't visit any time soon but I do intend to one day! It's about 2 hours flight from Sydney. I recently also went to Rymil park and it's so pretty there! I also didn't know there were fairy doors here! I think I'll need to explore rundle st more ! Also in regards to cafes, try Peppertones on hindley st- it's owned by the same owner of Cafe Bang Bang, but it's less crowded - they also own the smaller cafe called Little Pantry on Leigh st ☺️

I'm in a similar situation finishing up honours. I would love some freelance writing work as I have to be home for now. How does one get into that! I mean obviously Google and research it myself but if you wouldn't mind talking about it a bit that'd be great. Is it more difficult here in Aus? I've only ever written for degrees but I have a couple of them, so demonstrable work online. Beautiful relaxing vlog as always! I feel glad for you that you're free. Ooh I actually did a video on this kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmTVaaKCgqetjZo And yes it's absolutely harder in Australia (compared to somewhere like Japan where there aren't nearly as many English-speaking writers going around). I haven't published a lot in Australian magazines yet (hoping to eventually) but the best advice i can give is pay attention to the style of the publication, read lots of their articles, write something you think their readers will like, and if/when that doesn't work, try try again. That's my plan for when i get time to start submitting again anyway hahah 😂

Ahhh thank you 💛 I still think that animals should run wild and free, but as long as the zoo is taking good care of the animals, gives them enough space to run around and are active in promoting conservation efforts overall, then I'm *more* okay with them. We saw a really bad zoo when we were travelling and now I'm really wary about going to them if I can't check whether they're nice to the animals or not before hand

I really really enjoyed this vlog! Your editing is beautiful, the music choices are perfect and the overall vibe was so peaceful and sunny! I feel the same way about zoo's.. but the zoo you showed and the one you described seem to really care about animal welfare (I also love that they recycle those pamphlets that would likely just be thrown away!).
