I love watching first-timers to music like this. I grew up with music like this. The 80's 'Big-Hair Bands'... They taught us that... Sometimes we're happy. Sometimes we're sad. Sometimes we're mad. Sometimes we're right. Sometimes we're wrong. How we feel changes ever five minutes. We aren't perfect, but we can love someone else regardless. I was in high school when this came out. It's difficult to describe how huge this song was. All the guys loved Skid Row in general, and all the girls loved this song. It was huge. Got so much radio play everyone started hating it after a while. But it really is a beautiful song. A similar song, if you haven't heard it yet, is Fly to the Angels, by Slaughter. Came out in the same time period.

Sebastian Bach had the most powerful and soulful vibrato. I heard from a good source that the producer pushed him so hard during the recording of this album, where Sebastian kept running out of the studio crying because he was pushed to his limits. There are a few songs out there where there are no notes. No comments, no tweaks, nothing. This is one of those songs. You feel the anguish, the pain, the anger, the sorrow, the heartbreak...all of it. Sebastian Bach's voice is ripping apart the fabric of time, but the band behind him doesn't get the credit they deserve. Dave's melodious picking and Rachel's immaculate bass fills support Scotti ripping the steel out of the walls with a solo that sounds like a guitar crying out in emotional pain. Truly a perfect song.
