@Aimin your right, the dark Majin buu that came out of buu is created from buu's pain 😢💔 mixed with all the evil that was in him it took physical form and became another Majin buu. When buu became friends with Mr. Satan and the puppy Mr. Satan asked buu why he destroys people and cities and buu responded by saying that was all that he was ever taught by both bibidy and babid, and Mr. Satan told buu that he shouldn't be doing that both because it's wrong and because those two wizards are gone. Then after that buu decide that Mr Satan is right and he decided that for now on he wouldn't kill anymore. So basically Mr Satan actually almost saved both the world 🌎 and the rest of the universe from Majin buu just by simply talking to him and becoming his friend. 🤷‍♂️

Mr Satan had one of the most unexpected and underrated character development in the entire series, he went from a selfish fraud who wasn’t meant to be taken seriously, to a guy who would risk his life for a dog and a “monster” he was originally sent to kill.

Last time we got fusion with the boys, this time we get _diffusion_ with the Buus! If you remember Piccolo's backstory, he did something like this a long time ago; just before becoming the "Guardian of Earth", he split himself into a 'good' half (Kami) and an 'evil' half (Piccolo).

So basically Buu separated into a pure good and pure evil buu (two parts of the same person). It was the evil buu's influence inside him that made him kill, so he's a good guy now. It's similar to what happened to Piccolo. Unfortunately evil buu got most of the power.

When I first watched DBZ, I never got the assumption that their power was split, rather, as a magical creature to begin with, Buu’s rage created another Buu entirely. Later I was introduced to the idea that their power split, and that was what I have been thinking after some thoughts about it, but seeing the scene here I understand why I thought so at the beginning. Piccolo directly states the skinny Buu is even more powerful than the old Buu, and that sentence only makes sense if Buu was still at his original strength, the strength they struggeöed with before. Now, I don’t remember, but I assume this is a dub error and something in the manga at least strongly implied that their power split?

Another thing to keep in mind is that Fat Buu, when he was still one being, had his power limited do to the influence of the Kai’s inside of him. Evil Buu, once in his Super Buu form, has circumvented that limitation allowing him access to all of his power while retaining the extra clarity he gained from absorbing others.

Thanks for the quick uploads man! I can tell you dig the Buu saga. I absolutely loved it and it’s really underrated. I think this also showed how an “unimportant” character can have such a big impact. As strong as the Z fighters are, I don’t think any of them would’ve been capable of showing Buu what friendship and loss is about like Mr Satan showed him and Bee (the dog). Seeing fat Buu care so much really shows what an impact some small things can have and it also shows that Babidi is kinda to blame as a horrible “mentor” because he and his father Bibidi probably corrupted Buu. Imagine Mr Satan and Bee being there from the start. Can’t wait for the next part, Super Buu is so dope!

My take on it has always been that the first Fat Buu you see was potentially as strong as this version of Buu, he just never had any need to use all his power, and possibly can't use it without losing control. That's why he seems so rediculously unscathed by any kind of damage he takes. When you see Buu going "ME MAD NOW" against Vegeta, he's tapping into this side of his power, but his personality is still predominantly goofy. After Mr. Satan was shot, he couldn't hold the hatred in any longer and now his personality is pure evil.

I have never witnessed someone absolutely NAIL the running commentary (hit the bull’s eye) AS in accurately on-point fashion, as you just did. You were QUITE LITERALLY mimicking my EVERY THOUGHT, and what’s super wild is that you don’t even seem to have had a head’s up on the situation, and could gauge everything from how strong the first “Evil Buu” was, simply from the first second of him doing something, and then, the same for the second version of him. You had to have known, as you were wearing a Majin cap throughout the whole watch. If you didn’t, you’re super quick on the uptake and need very little display of a particular feat, to understand everything you need to know about it, from the get-go. You could tell everything from the first glimpse and the depth of your observations were impossibly accurate. About Gotenks, it is explained in his info chart what while he is powerful, his is quite insane due to Trunks and Goten not being clear on which of them is in control. Think of it like two kids fighting over the only game controller in the house, they both want to go first.

The reason why Super Buu (Pure Evil Buu after absorbing Fat Buu) did not kill Hercule, was because Hercule was Fat Buu's friend. Since Super Buu is Fat Buu absorbed, he gains the sentimentality for both Hercule and the puppy. But all in all, this scene really brings out how much of a monstrosity Super Buu really is. He truly is a terrifying being. Watching this back really hit me in the nostalgia points. This is why I love Dragon Ball Z's Majin Buu Saga!!!

Evil Buu, when he split from Fat Buu, took the bulk of their power. There's a lot of disagreements with how strong Fat Buu was after the split, some think he was roughly as strong as an average SS2 others think he was a little stronger than Majin Vegeta. Only thing fans agree on and have to agree on from the source is Evil Buu was stronger. When he ate Fat Buu it was basically switching the drivers of a new car. Evil side took the wheel and threw the good side in the trunk. Evil Buu is well the evil of Buu. No one really agrees on why exactly he exists, as is the case for a lot of dragon ball issues, but I basically explained it to myself through the years as the evil in Buu having had enough of those positive emotions surfacing and deciding the designated driver needed to change. Immediately. And finally to answer question about how we grew up with this? It was actually pretty easy. These were the toonami days and this was legit one of the coolest death scenes in dbz. Plus those 2 had it coming after what they did to those old people, the dog, and Mr. Satan.

Just something cool and notable When Evil Buu is created, we hear a new theme song that sounds dark and mysterious. When you listen to it at 15:45 , you notice it sounds incomplete, with breaks, as if it's not playing the entire melody. Then at 20:40 , we hear Super Buu's theme song, containing the complete and full melody. This also happens to be my favourite soundtrack from DBZ. I remember the soundtrack doing something similar in the Demon King Piccolo saga in DB, though of course that wasn't made by Bruce Faulconer

If Gotenks had just gone to Buu right away, it's not totally impossible that he might have been strong enough to beat the fat version of Buu. In his SSJ form, he's probably about as strong as SSJ3 Goku. Although he wouldn't have had a prayer against Super Buu. Super Buu is built different. I remember reading the original manga, when Buu took off for the lookout and Picollo's horrified scream of: "He can sense ki!" Because I thought they were all about to get wiped out.

If you didn’t know, from the beginning of dragon ball when Goku and piccolo had a power level of 324ish, their attacks were already faster than the speed of light where raditz managed to dodge. And raditz full power was around 1,400 at MOST. So really Goku and vegeta and every other single Z fighter is faster than the speed of light but they don’t show it because obviously it’d be too quick🤣

I will help you out the first Buu that you see its from the past before he got sealed and not really his original form the strongest past of the Kais in a attempt to fight Buu noticed he was no match and decided to merge into Buus's body so he can have a good heart in Buus body and keep the pure evil inside of him even tho it was not 100% controlled. But when he got so angry it couldn't control it and that's why the evil side of Buu left his body. That gray Buu that you see is his pure evil side while fat Buu is the fat Kai merged in Buu body.
