​@gregkurve7785 that's about correct, bulma I think is 15 because later when Goku comes to West city to get the dragon radar fixed she was still in school, but that's like a year and a half or so in the future because they had already went on one dragon ball adventure and the dragon balls where ready to be found again, so at least a year has gone by. And she is 16 at most in that episode. So she's either late 14 or early 15 at this point, and Goku is 12 in the world martial arts tournament, so he is either 10 and a half or 11 now.

Mai and the Pilaf Gang managed to get their hands on the Dragon Balls shortly after Cell's defeat and wished for youth, but didn't specify how young, so Shenron turned them into babies, this is how they appeared as kids in Super. This was mention in the Battle Of The Gods movie, and there was a manga chapter showing this happen.

Indeed. Z is the most popular but that's due to Super Saiyan and Power level. They gave up too many character development in favor of Saiyan. OG Dragon Ball can even has very little Character development and character connections.

DB focuses on long term story building and a lot of lighthearted comedy, DBZ focuses more on the fighting scenes and story telling, DBS is a mix of both. I personally like DB the most for all the amazing story content you get about halfway into DB.

It's awesome to see the very first episode that started things off. Those three villains, I think it was explained in the Dragonball Z Battle of the Gods that they tried to become younger but it kinda backfired and they became too young. I think everyone liked that over Goku becoming a kid again in GT.

And yes, Goku killed Buu. I’m one of those few people that saw OG first then Z. The impact is much powerful. Seeing raditz arriving on earth and how powerful he was compare to all the villains in OG. Plus the deaths in the saiyan saga was more impactful since you already know their connection to goku. When you start with Z, you don’t know how the hell is who and the feeling ain’t the same

Dr. Briefs invented the capsuls around Age 720-730 after his first daughter Tights was born around that times as well. I think OG Dragon Ball take place during Age 740s or 750s. Goku was born around Age 736 and Bulma and Vegeta was born around Age 733. These dates arent exact but you can find the exact dates online along with a fill canon Dbz timeline of events.

The thing you should is that Dragon Ball started as a martial arts movies' parody. Like everything's upside down: - Goku (who's is inspired by the tale of Sun Wukong (Son Goku is the Japanese pronouciation)) is, instead of being a badass Bruce Lee, a complete idiot who thinks marriage is a dish. - Master Roshi, is the parody of the ermit wiseman (he has two names, Muten Roshi (=Martial-Heaven's Old-Master) and Kame Sennin (=Turtle Ermit)), like he's not wise, he's a f*cking pervert. These are a few examples, but note that in Z, it wasn't 100% given up. Like Cell is a bit of the parody of the creepy eerie monster from sci-fi movies.
