You're the man Jim. Great video! I remember when hogs and rams were all we had to hunt. I hunted Missouri the first year they allowed airguns. This year I'm off to Idaho for a airgun elk hunt. It's a great time to be an airgunner. Love your advice to the people on guns, accuracy, and power. Dig some more hunts out of that vault! Nice shot btw!

Thanks! Yeah, it's come a long way. Good luck to you on the elk, that will be a great hunt. I'm thinking maybe next year. This year I've got mulies on my mind!

Hello Jim, excellent video as always love watching your video as I get alot of educated info. I was needing some advice or opinion on big bore rifles. I'm looking to get a nice set up, I hunt in texas we have whitetail, axis , pigs on our place. I hunt in a box blind with the feeders out to 100 yds (most common shot) but we do have some open sendero out to 150 to 185 yards.with your experience what would you recommend in my situation for a big bore rifle.there so much to choose from these day.thank you sir john

I’d like to give it a try with the wildcat three compact superior liner in 30 shouldn’t have any problems 13 rounds still has over 150 bar preferably about 1000 feet 982 throughout the whole cycle then it drops down around 856 that’s more than enough with some good headshot great Huntin

I took a small boar with my Wildcat .25 a few years back. Would like to go back with My Maverick or Impact .30 and give the Hybrid slugs a go. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I have a gun like yours. And i didnt understand something: you have said you tuned the gun to shoot that slug. How is that possible? What exactly did you do?

Non hunter here, but really impressed and enjoyed watching you take down that hog. Silly question, perhaps - where was the shot placement? Head or lings/heart? Cheers.

Wow. Stoned him,now I've not hunted hog,but it looks like a lot of fun.. Since it had to sit overnight,and your friend was in shorts,so it has to be hot,was the meat salvageable,or just had to chuck it as a culling?

can regular firearm projectiles be used in those air rifles,anyone out there know?
@americanairgunhunter4 жыл бұрын
You can use lead bullets, and many used black powder bullets in the past or cast their own. There is so much airgun specific ammo on the market these days, available online, and the cost are reasonable, there are many options available.
