If they were still in OR, likely seeing such hard rain, and in the mountains, they're gonna drop thru giant pine trees, through plush subtropical shrubs and ferns and hopefully land on moss. I LOVED this episode!! And love your reaction and comments too! Is my math off cause I'm getting 7 years he's been gone...at most close to 8. He cut off his hand in year 5 then 1 year of CRM training then 1 year of setting up the base and then we were at the present. Michonne story started in year 6 after the bridge then she was out cause of the gas for a year, bringing it to 7 years give or take some months.

This was a great episode and a great reaction. Michonne was 😤 and the no words to Rick said it all 😂. Michonne showed Thorne up for what she is a nobody. And Thorne can’t stand it, it’s why she wanted to kill Michonne. It’s so funny that Thorne called Rick her family but Rick was going to put a bullet in her head for threatening Michonne oh the irony 😂. And we got a Cleo in TWDU, I was tickled to hear my name 😂. That ending was awesome, Michonne snatched his ass out of that helicopter. I’m so glad we found out who did the picture bcuz I saw some people saying it was jadis bcuz of the pictures she did for Maggie, it was great hearing that guy say “believe a lil bit longer” and now she’s getting how Rick is. I don't think Thorne is romantically interested in Rick...at least not now. I think she's DESPERATELY afraid of experiencing this massive organization alone. Meaning I don't think she wants to advance in CRM, be part of whatever their plans are...on her own. We saw how she resigned herself to never getting back to whomever she left behind..and she was pushing Rick in the first 2 eppies to let go of whomever he left behind as well. She doesn't want to be alone in her resignation. But I don't think it's about romance. However, I still maintain that she's a problem and needs to be taken out. Lordy, she was working my last nerve in this episode. She has no idea the deeper connection between Rick & Michonne but the minute she does...look out. I was glad to see Michonne begin to realize how badly Rick tried to hold onto her, Judith and the others....with the artwork. It seemed like she's been afraid he didn't return because he didn't want to. When the reality is he hasn't been able to despite MANY attempts. Afterall, he burned his letters so she has no record of his thoughts/feelings/experiences over the last 6-8 years. She doesn't fully understand how his fighting spirit was stomped out. They need to have a LONG conversation and they haven't been able to. Before, it wasn't the right time to tell him about RJ and I understood that decision. But she has to tell him now. I think hearing he has another child/son is going to reignite some of that fight in him. And Michonne needs the details on what Rick has been through over the years...and the threats that have been leveled on their family/friends if he actually did leave. Finally, I was completely thrown by the leap out of the helicopter. Wasn't what I expected at all.

Even though I can tell Rick is broken…. He is right… he leaves and Alexandria could be gone in an instant with those choppers. Granted most of our main cast lives in the commonwealth now…. Rick would have to somehow make sure they don’t connect Alexandria to the common wealth. But nah something amazing is going to happen. Portland remnants are going to team up and Rick and michonne will be the leaders after the battle. At the summit all high ranking CRM brass will be there plus ALL frontline troops…. CRM will still exist at the end of this, just a better democratic CRM and Rick and Michonne can go home. Even make connections between new CRM and the commonwealth. Or a complete rebrand to Commonwealth.

Great reaction and review. The tension was palpable , even between Rick and Michonne. Rick is caught between two women and the love of his life . He needs to stop trying to do everything on his own Remember, it was Esteban who gave him the idea to escape. Now, he needs to work with Michonne to figure out a way to escape. But first, Michonne needs to get through to him. Hopefully, that happens in the next episode (or two). That said, the storytelling avoids most of the tired tropes, which means that Jadis dies (Hopefully?). Smdh...

I don't think it's literally getting out at this point, the problem is leaving without endangering the people at home. These people 'gassed' the group Michonne was with and they all died except Nat. They killed a reported 100,000 souls at Omaha. Even if Jadis dies, if she's telling the truth about leaving information for CRM to find... There's no way they could get home before CRM got there and 'gassed' everyone.

Just came across your channel and I have to say I am LIVING for your hate for Thorne lmao. I cannot stand Thorne as a character and it keeps getting even more so as the episodes go on...and Thorne putting her sights on Michonne just solidified me being like "Miss ma'am WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE...yeah girl you gotta go." In my opinion I feel like she is going to be an even bigger threat for Rick and Michonne rather than Jadis. Speaking of Jadis, I actually quite like her character. I think it's because we had multiple seasons with her on the main TWD show, and when we're first introduced to her she's just this weird complex person who lives in a garbage dump...and I mean yeah she gave Rick over to the CRM for her own benefit but she did save his life. Of course it came at a cost of Rick being away for years, but he's currently alive and has the opportunity to take advantage of escaping with Michonne now that they're together. I also have to say I hate it when Mom and Dad fight...I truly believe that Michonne is going to have to be the one to light a fire under him and spit some truth to him while getting some answers from Rick. I do believe that Rick was just saying all those hurtful things to try and change her mind, BUT I feel like she knew he was lying and just saying stuff. I think she understands how serious the CRM is and will try to say just about anything to get her to leave, but she's not buying it. She is not leaving without him. But I was flabbergasted when Michonne pulled Rick out of that helicopter at the end. Girl was LITERALLY like "Listen, I'm done messing around...we're getting out this helicopter so I can get some answers, we can try to find a way to plan, escape etc. Or we're going to die trying." I'm theorizing and I know some others are that Rick might find out about RJ in the next episode. I obviously could be wrong, however if he does...maybe finding out he has another child MIGHT just be what he need to hear to be like "You were right...we need to try to find a way to get back home." yeah i was a little bit whole lotta wrong last week thorne might be the bigger problem but jadis is absolutely still a problem speaking of thorne it'd probably be a good long while from now but i feel like one way we could handle her being a threat's finding a way to get her back to capetown(cause apparently daryl went to france somehow)cause giving up on all that's part of what's keeping her with the crm lol jadis in that flashback had me cracking up cause i couldn't stop picturing her natural bowlcut under that wig your reaction to rick watching michonne walk away in that first scene had me giggling like crazy listen i love terryoquinn but i was this close to fast forwarding past his little patriotic history lesson i love that scene with thorne so clearly outta her league confronting michonne she was entirely unbothered by everything thorne said if they don't stop jadis from sending crm in alexandria's direction theyjust gonna have to pack everybody up and move back to georgia or something i don't know i can't help but just be astounded watching the delusion both thorne and jadis got going on this comment's long as hell but the only thing that matters we need the next episode with just the two of em now!

I am making my call right now. Remember Jadis arresting Kublek on the world beyond for taking down Omaha? I think Thorne drank the koolaid after her promotion and briefing with maj gen Beale. I think Jadis, Okifor, and Beale were working to make that change we keep hearing the crm needs but now that Thorne sees what’s at stake she changed her mind and wants to save the crm as it is. Beale is gonna die, thorne is gonna die and jadis MAY die. Rick will be taking the crm over and makes it so people can come and go so either his family/friends can come there or he goes back. Also, the “Bricks” where they’re (maggie and them) all at is in Jersey or New York, daryl was picked up in Maine, dead city is in Manhattan. I think everything is converging now and we’ll see if i’m right very soon.

Roll back to the opening shot with the choppers going over the forest. You’ll see where Michonne was aiming for when she TimeOut’d her man and herself outta that chopper. Michonne was looking out the window on the way up to the site. She saw the lake. The chopper wasn’t that high in the storm…and in her mind she said “We might not be coming home.” when she opened that hatch. They’re gonna try, or die trying. And Rick isnt “puppy eyed every time” they see each other. They’re adults. Not teenagers. They know the situation, regardless of their feelings. What I was living for: Michonne’s subtle (and not so subtle) “You must be outta your GAHT-damn mind, Richard.” face. There better be many Emmy/SAG/Golden Globe nominations for these two this next TV Award Season.
