If you go to Aba, you will see where all the suits and shoes you call Italian is produced. Nigeria has been doing this for ages and putting other countries brand to promote sale but all those have changed now. Its all branded "proudly Nigerian" including automobiles. Most of the consumables in west and central Africa is manufactured in Nigeria.

The 2nd lady you interviewed is a perfect example of Nigerian. She saw an opportunity to learn something new and went for it to enrich her resume and experience.. to all the haters that wonder why Nigerians leave their country is not because there is nothing in Nigeria. But the average Nigerian hungers to learn knew things he is the epitome of follow who know road . They will look for places were the is un tapped potential and go for it.

From childhood I have seen a lot of fashion produced ,especially bespoke fashion and even textiles. Infact one of my mum's distant relatives has a textile factory. Let me tell you,did you know many people I know in London, when they fly to Nigeria they spend money to fashion designers and local tailors . I still remember a hat maker based in Ikeja called Bimby Lads, making bespoke hats that I hardly see anywhere.
