Just got VIP 3.1 on sale at Plugin Boutique and I must say it's super handy. As a composer and producer of many years this does make my workflow easier and allows me to open VIP in standalone mode and just mess around with sounds and multis, being creative whilst not thinking about any particular song, saving the patch, opening up my DAW and getting started with a huge stack complete with effects ready to go. The fact that I can save backups of all of the maps I add to it is amazing also. No fear of restarting! Nice. 10/10 for sure.

This is what Kore was. VIP imo is closer to Kore than whatever NI has going on with Komplete Kontrol.

For posterity, the noun 'attribute' (meaning, a characteristic of) is pronounced with an accent on the first syllable, not the second. With the accent on the second syllable, attribute becomes a verb (meaning, to assign to).

Hi, I have installed the trial version and from some tests I have noticed that the loading of the samples of an istruments happens only when I select the song that contains it. For a live use where I have to change the sounds differently makes this program unusable, I can't wait for seconds for the samples to load. Am I wrong something?

Still no support for vst3 plugins? The online 3.0 version user guide says it won't scan vst3. Does VIP 3.1 address this yet?

It's need DAW to record or something similiar, you cant record live performance just in VIP without DAW.

Thanks for making this video - very interesting software indeed! I don't mean to be anal, but most people pronounce the word "attributes" with the accent on the first syllable, as in AT tri butes. I only bring this up because at first I wasn't understanding what you were saying - then I slowed down the video and got it.

I downloaded VIP and have it installed, using Pro tools 12 and Ilok2, using the ILok manager, I made sure it was activated there. Doesn't show up in my DAW..am I missing something? Thanks!

How come you guys never show how to do these things with the Drum pads...all y'all talk about are Synths and keys...who wants to use drum pads as keys....Also talk about the combination of the control button in conjunction with other buttons...as well as other hidden clickables...This keyboard to to powerful for all the videos to be the same...GOOD JOB BY YOU THOUGH.

You will have to scan your system for Instruments and Effects first before they will show up in the lists. Settings -> Plugin Manager -> Scan. :)
