Lethal League Blaze, the sequel to Lethal League, is a competitive projectile fighting game developed by Team Reptile known for its intense highspeed gameplay paired with a futuristic cast of characters which include robots, skaters, a sentient boombox and more. As a competitive title, Lethal League Blaze is considered to be easy to pick but hard to master and has developed a small yet passionate esports scene.
In today's video, we take you into the world of Lethal League and the players behind this funky face paced fighting game.

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to give this video a watch! We put a lot of time into this and is just one of the many new videos we have in the works for 2020 as we diversify our channel! To help us out (and fight the KZbin algorithm) we would really appreciate it if you left a comment/like and Subscribe if you haven't already to keep up with our future releases.

If you're looking for obscure scenes, I would recommend looking into the Splatoon community. Their most recent game's content had ended fairly recently but the competitive scene is keeping it alive and playing it still.

Sounds good! I'm into this idea and subscribing. Please take a look at Rivals of Aether. It's a game that's consistently included in big-ish tournaments as a side event without having neither the big community nor the funding other titles have. The playerbase is small but extremely dedicated and the devs put a lot of effort into keeping the game alive. Mechanically it's a lot like smash but with a bigger emphasis on dinstintive, cohesive and balanced characters, as well as a more agressive playstyle. Thanks for reading! I bet you already knew it but I'd love (and the community too) to see a video about it. Edit: Just saw you hearted a comment about Rivals so silly me for not checking out before posting lol.

As a player who was able to climb their way through the first season of this game's competitive through sheer grinding (and not that much skill) it's surreal and humbling to see the things I experienced. The one time I fought Daioutzu, he kicked my ass and sent me spiraling back down to the normal ladder, and I used to love queueing up while I watched the Japanese streams and dropping a GG in chat whenever I'd find one. All your content is excellently made, but this one speaks to me just because I can say confidently that it got everything right. And not ONCE did it mention Jet Set Radio! :)

I played the OG game a while back, i wanna say 2016. We got so good just playing with each other, every round we were going balls to the wall, high speed, I thought the stage was going to melt around us. 10/10 game. It has the really low skill floor and an incredibly high skill ceiling. I hope this games community grows as it kind of died as far as tournaments are concerned. There are still new player challenges which happen every other month, but other then that, there hasn't been a legit tournament in over a year.

so just fyi as of novmber 2020,the biggest tournment llb ever had was the new player challenge #1 (online) which had 188 players,a really intresting tournment since it was only for players with less then 200 hours on both the first ll and llb so the pros werent there. there were alot of good players there but the one suprise was the winner of the tournment which was domsdoodle,a new player in the sceane which was a console player for 30-40 hours iirc (not alot comphared to others) and was couched by southpyne(a pro player) and won the tournment against the 3rd seed ranked player which had much more expirence then him after he returned from the losers bracket and made the bracket reset by winning against him in the first set. personlly i got kocked out of the losers bracket against domsdoodles but i was ranked 15 so it was a pretty good run,but he played so precisely and agressivly that i just didnt had a chance there.

Yes, more people talking about LLB! This game is great and I'm glad the following is growing. As for an obscure games to check out next, there's a game called Crawl by Powerhoof studios, a dungeon crawler where your friends play as the monsters. They can even take control of traps and the final boss of the game, as far as I know everyone who's played it (and wasn't an idiot that couldn't understand how the controls work) had an amazing time fighting with their friends. I want more people to share and play it.

This actually fills a gap I’ve been looking for. I feel like while there are games like Blazblue that are as complex as anyone could ask for, there has also been an emergence of “distilled” fighting games that sort of center on one particular element of the genre and distill it to its own game. For example, the game Footsies is centered around, well, footsies; similar with Divekick and aerial fighting; and I’d even argue DBFZ is basically that for rushdown (which tells you how much it cares about traditional FG archetypes by making the best zoner a grappler). But I hadn’t seen anything in the vein of Zoning: The Game. I’m not actually sure that’s the best way to describe this game as I don’t know much about it but that’s the first thing that comes to mind two minutes into this video.

Meanwhile here I am stuck forever in 8th division, because the only online there is ranked, and all the players there are good. Then again, sometimes even I can win against them, and there's no better feeling. Thank you for covering a relatively small game. It deserves better.

I have been playing the game since launch on xbox and there is a small community of players that formed since the first game. People come and go from the xbox version but a veteran xbox player named Oblivion Crysis has been hard at work trying to get new players to join the long lasting xbox player community.

I'm sorry, I had to stop watching at 1:48 duo to enormous amounts of cringe. You said smooth, fast-paced "FGC"-gameplay, that does not mean a thing. What in the fuck is fighting game community-gameplay? That would have worked had you just dropped the FGC completely, it has no place or purpose being there, other than making you sound like you really don't even know what you are talking about, like those horrible IGN reviews.
