Because of congestion (way too much traffic) The Al Maktoum fixes that because I measured and the unfinished Al Maktoum Airport is already way larger than the Main Dubai Airport at Qusais

what is this guy talking about it opened in 2010. yes It has been an ongoing project and the full build out will not be completed for a few more years but it's already been operational. This is not a brand new airport as his title suggests. It is almost as though he just found out about it recently himself.

Actually i don’t thunk it will be good. As if you’re living in sharjah.. for example.. i live in Al Khan.. so DXB is vey near to me .. but when they shift the airport to maktoum airport.. it will take an hour to get there so the airport will be excellent.. just that the location is bad😢

Did they at least figure out how the sewage is going to be handled?? Are they still planning to truck it to the coast or bury it in the desert? Either of those solutions are going to involve building out numerous desalination plants which are environmental disasters. I recently came across several articles that hinted Dubai was in talkes with several third world countries to provide these removal and disposal sevices - Yemen? This seems to be another "build it and they will come" project that Dubai continues to promote with the ill conceived goal of turning this portion of the world into a travel destination. At best, it will be one more target site for ISIS and the rest of the terrorists who are allowed to run free and supported . Who in their right mind would ever think about traveling to the middle east for holliday???
