This band is ironic in country music. So MANY awards over the decades, including band of the decade. This is a rabbit hole i think you would like. Songs: Mountain Music High Cotton Feels So Right Gonna Have a Party Tennessee River Just to name a few to get you started.

I got to see a concert in 1983 in My Hometown of Wilmington. NC for the Azelea Festival a Young up and coming group named Alaba opened for Hank Williams JR. Everyone was amazed . let the lead singer of Alabama sing a song with Him.knew Alabama had a great Future. Hank Williams JR
