Thank you! I absolutely HATE cutting on the fold. I print the pieces twice and make my patterns whole sized anyway. Beautiful bag!

Do you use photo paper to cut the pattern pieces or is a protective film...I am getting ready to start my Alanna....sooooo excited..Thanks Barb...Love your videos

I print my pieces on card stock and then I used a self adhesive coating to cover them.

Love the video...I already bought the pattern...is there a reason why you did not use purse feet? I feel that they give the bottom an extra layer of protection. Thanks..Love your videos....Barb

Purse feet are certainly an option, and there’s no reason not to use them. Thank you for your kind words!

Debby, Another winner!! 🥰 will be buying the pattern today. Thank you for the link on the high shank feet. I have the 2200 QVP mini that I'm certain these feet will work on, question though. My industrial is the Juki DL 1541. Do you "think" they will work for that machine as well?
@DebbyHunker5 жыл бұрын
Your 1541 is a compound walking foot right? These feet will not work on it. Walking feet are two parts.

@@DebbyHunker thank you! Didn't even think about it being a walking foot. That's why you are the expert! 🥰

Could you put feet on this bag?
@DebbyHunker5 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can... you will want to do that after you glue the heavy interfacing into the bottom. A layer of fleece over the feet prongs will help protect the lining

Debby, what do you use to cut the bontex?

I use my rotary cutter and then round the ends with scissors
