I’m praying that we can use farcasters during the fight. Or at least be able to Superman dive through it’s ultimate. I hope Alatreon’s weapons will be worth the fight. Especially the hammer, since I’m a hammer main.

@thunderdrae True, but it also doesn't really make sense for you to have to use 4 different elements when it takes forever to switch weapons. If you can't superman dive the change, solo players are going to get fucked over. Hopefully I just get to go at him with my raw lance and block/dive the ult

Prawn you know there is a universal element to do damage so you could do it solo, but i don’t think soloing a black dragon is a good idea.

@@chironthecuddley6144 Because you couldn't refresh your inventory in the old games mid-hunt which meant that every damage you took, regardless of how small was damage you couldn't recover later on. Since World doesn't allow that type of threat anymore it has been changed into singular attacks with more power and harder to avoid/block.

Something that generally elder dragons posess I believe maybe some sort of reactive thing they get from somewhere or eating something. Kinda like how valstrax uses it as fuel so it must be reactive in some way

He also mixes dragon element with his attacks. In the first trailer we saw him use it with fire but it in the dev diary he was exploding his ice structures with the dragon element. So basically he has raging brachy and bazelguese type of moves

This episode was exceptionally hilarious to me. From the random "my eyes" when a flash went off.,to Cotton and his airship voice, that Giza joke, the potion bit. Fun fact, according to canon mh lore. Alatreon usually chills at the bottom of the ocean just to be left alone. He knows he's a royal pain for everyone around him with his disasters.

Only three Black dragons 😋 WRONG!!! There are FIVE!!!!! Fatalis, Crimson Fatalis, White Fatalis, Dire Miralis, and Alatreon. These 5 Black Dragons are also referred to as the Forbidden Monsters. Meaning they are the 5 monsters that are forbidden from use in official advertising for the franchise ( until Alatreon in Iceborne).

+Lucas Lokheim Bjerknes I've heard it considered as psychic damage/intimidation, for instance it's associated with Akantir's roar, Deviljho, Stygian Zinogre(considered to be a hell hound, and a defiant of the dragons), and Fatalis. I agree, that it's effective on the intelligent, the dragons, who have the intelligence there to be compromised and hurt, like it hurts to understand it or something. I think physically, it also behaves like ash and smoke. So, maybe Tigrex chokes on it, or it gets in its toes or something? It could also dry out Lagiacrus. I dunno, I've just got the low rank armor of gen in front of me to extrapolate from.

Technikally speaking alatreon would encounter more monsf Ters deep in lava than he would on the ocean floor because monsters like gravios,teostra,agnaktor ,bootleg agnaktor (aka lavasioth),akantor and meny more kann easely swimm through lava
