Few people understand what a huge shift has taken place in Kosovo. From corrupt governements to a prime minister that can not be corrupted. And he was elected by more than 50% of the people, which means a very stable government. This sort of shift only happens in movies. Kosovo has gone from having one the most corrupt governments and institutions in Europe to having the least corrupt government. And Im pretty sure the institutions will follow suit fairly soon.

Kosovo can indeed be seen as a ray of hope for democracy in the Balkans. Compared to neighboring countries, Kosovo ranks highest in the index for democracy, freedom of expression and freedom of media (ranked highest among countries of the western Balkans). The total change of power also testifies to a functioning democracy. A movement like the Vetevendosje, which at the beginning was just a movement on the streets, managed to assert itself against the strong and large old parties and to win the elections with an absolute majority. In the neighboring countries that is impossible. Yes, Kosovo with its young, up-and-coming population can be seen as a ray of hope. Support from the EU would only further strengthen democracy.

What democracy? Kosovo's president Thaçi is now in Hague for war crimes. The Kosovo Albanians persecute the Serb civilians, the Romas and others, and even destroy the ancient serbian churches there (UNESCO Heritage Sites), as during the March 2004 Pogrom. Kosovo Albanians are also involved in heroin/arms/human/organ-trafficking. The Kosovo Albanian "freedom fighters" now join l.Ѕ.l.Ѕ. in Syria (e.g.Lavdrim Muhaxheri). Kosovo also harbours terorists such as Afrim Ismailovic, wanted for murder of 5 innocent Macedonian youths in 2012.

In July 2021, Serbian monastery of Saint Peter and Paul in Serbian village of Brod was attacked and desacrated. On October 13, 2021 Serbian civilian Srecko Sofronijevic was shot in a back by Albanian police, the assassination of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic murdered in 2018 in Mitrovica is still unresolved, Serbs are being attacked daily, in the city of Pec and in the city of Djakovica there is only one Serbian resident in each of these cities, they can't go outside their houses are regularly stoned, UN personnel must bring them a food. The last Serbian woman in Djakovica is over 80 years old now she was beaten few times so far, there is a documentary about her she lives in her own house in captivity. That is the ray of democracy sponsored by international community.
@Mari0.1872 жыл бұрын
Oliver was shot by a direct order from Belgrade. And the other two topics you bring forward was proven to be serb false flag operations.

Marko Roshic, Nedelkjo Spasojevic, Dragisha Markovic, Zharko Jovanovic, Silvana Arsovic and Rade Basara are all suspects and there is a trial starting today for their involvment in Oliver Ivanovic murder.

The Monastery experiences more than sufficient rights but infact extra privileges. A political tool used by genociders should not be praised as a false artefact of history
