Honestly, I think Jack is still alive. He’s one of those villains that always finds a way to survive even the most final of defeats. It wouldn’t even surprise me if he was the Corruptor himself. Retreating into the void and absorbing all that dark power for himself. It would be fitting, William and his lineage took all his power, why not claim his?

My theory is that there was a Hero named Jack. He’s the one that people see as a Hero and celebrate his return. At some point, perhaps when Hero Jack left for all that time, he finds Jack of Blades and is possessed by the mask. Jack gets the favor of the people and all that Hero Jack had before.

I think the reason Jack is celebrated but is also the biggest villain is that, through many years of different Jack of Blades' Arena wins, he's become a sort of moniker. There's the doubt that he's some immortal lich, then there's the doubt that it could be some underdog in his image. It gives credence to the dichotomy of public opinion we see.

Given that there were two other masks from the Queen and Knight. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason he held onto them wasn't sentimental. It was backups should he need a new vessel.

The queen and knight of blades souls were still in those masks, but because they were so much more powerful and in the period of fable LC it was much harder for him to find a suitable vessel for them nevermind himself.

I believe Jack is alive too. Like Alduin he is only truly defeated if you travel into the void and abolish what's left of him there. Jack is not just a mask. The mask acts as a conduit for him to materialise in the real world. I believe a Gollum like figure will find one of the masks in the bottom of a lake... *cue the Ring theme*

I hope he comes back in fable 4, but being reincarnated and lost all his memory. It would’ve been awesome that the hero now in fable 4 would be childhood friends with jack of blades reincarnation. Jack of blades will slowly be reminded of his past, and starts to become evil. The hero try to save his friend from evil, and failed many times as they get older. Finally, jack of blades will finally get defeated by the hero, and you’re given the choice to kill him or not. And so on LOL

If the Fable 4 rumors are true and the game will hop planets, time and dimensions, then I wouldn't be shocked if Jack and the rest of the court of blades return. Of course those could be BS which is fine by me. As long as Fable 4 lets the player do and become literally whatever and whoever they want, has that classic British charm/humor and feels true to the previous games, I'll be happy. I would like to see Jack return though, I'd also like to see Scythe/William Black come back and actually flesh all this lore out in game.

It never occurred to me that the other two masks were the Queen and Knight, not just spares. That's surprisingly sentimental for someone/something like Jack. Then again, the wise-cracking Freddy Krueger thing they stuck him with in Lost Chapters felt horribly out of character too.

I always liked to imagine Jack of Blades was a primordial demon god, essentially the antithesis of primordial gods. Hence his extreme power. Him and the other members of the court were probably born from the "Void" or whatever entity embodies the void itself, which it seems has never (directly) revealed itself to us.

Since we don't truly get the actual ending like they don't specify that he actually died what if he actually took over the mind of your character and eventually didn't need the mask but still made one just in case that if the one he had broke he at least had spares or if he did lose that mask what if he actually did just make replicas and they're just all around and he can permanently be around after you know the death of his two allies

a few things im confused on id like cleared up if possible, did jack exist before the corruptor? saying william black spit out the corruptor (after stealing the sword) is it possible it was a manifestation born from both william and the sword? is the sword perhaps with a host, a possessor of sorts a grand master? An "if so" arch villain it would be then wouldnt it.
